Urgent BLM Mutual Aid Request

β€œHey, we need your support! The past few weeks have been tough for BLM as we work with families impacted by police violence. Today we're helping the family of a young Birmingham teen killed by Birmingham police on Wednesday evening and also Black trans woman found dead in Birmingham City Jail yesterday afternoon. We want to provide food and support for those impacted.

I’m asking movement friends who believe in the work to help us support these families. If you can, please donate via Cash App or Venmo. Your help makes a difference!

I’m trying to raise $320 to pay for gathering feast to feed family 20-25.”

Cash App: $EricHall2345

"Social Security is not a luxury. It is not a handout. It is not a political bargaining chip for billionaires, lobbyists, or extremists who want to balance budgets on the backs of seniors, people with disabilities, widows, children, and working families.

Yet Speaker Mike Johnson just made it clear: if Republicans win again in November, cuts to Social Security are on the table.

Check out this reporting from Aaron Parnas, then read below to see how we can take action to protect Social Security and hold our leaders accountable." -People Power United and Laurie Woodward Garcia
