Northport-Omena Chamber of Commerce Annual Winter Carnival to 4 p.m.

The 2017 Northport-Omena Chamber of Commerce winter carnival is scheduled for February 18th from 11 am. This 13th annual celebration of winter at the tip of the peninsula will be held at the Braman Hill Recreational Area west of Northport. The event-filled day includes; Northern Michigan’s only Broomball and Milk Jug Curling tournaments; The Northport Promise Chili Cook Off, and a cardboard sled c

ompetition conducted by Northport Public School. Proceeds go to Northport Public School, the Northport Promise and the Northport Omena Chamber of Commerce.
