The 2014 Leelanau Run for Funds is ON!!! Saturday July 5 at the Depot in Northport. Two-mile starts at 9 a.m. 10K & 5K are off at 9:30. The two-mile walk follows the start of the 10K - 5K. This is the 35th year for the run. It is dedicated to the memory of run founder George Anderson. Get the registration form online athttp://duenorth.us/images/registration2014ia.pdf . Preregistration is $20. Registration on day of race is $25. See you there!!!

We don't know if we are going to have any more Run for funds in Northport. George Anderson passed away last November. We are looking for people to help in running of the race.

33 years ago, George Anderson founded the Northport “Run for Funds,” a running event that benefits the American Cancer Society, supporting the research that will one day lead to a cure, and helps provide aid for county residents undergoing cancer treatment.
