Good news! 🎉�So far in 2025, we’ve produced and delivered over 14,300 healthy, homemade meals — and we’re on track to serve 2,700 more before the year’s end! 🍽️
Through our amazing partners across Washington, Lamoille, and Caledonia counties, these meals reach working families, seniors, veterans, children, and people experiencing housing insecurity.

You’ve heard the saying:
“Give a man a fish, feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.”
At Feed Every Need, we believe there’s more to that story.

Help feed your neighbors in need...

We've just kicked off a new fundraising campaign with a goal to raise $100,000 for Feed Every Need, and we need your help to make it happen.

Feed Every Need is a Northfield, VT based 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to fighting hunger in our community. We are reaching out to you today to request a financial contribution to support extending the longevity of our prepared meals program for 2025.

We are excited to announce that our prepared meals program provided over 30,000 meals in 2024 to Vermonters in Washington, Lamoille, Orange and Chittenden counties, helping our most vulnerable Vermont neighbors, including not only those experiencing homelessness and mental health crises, but working individuals and families struggling to put food on the table, as well. Our meals are made with wholesome, healthy ingredients and are easy to access, even for people with limited cooking skills/facilities.

Feed Every Need was founded with the belief that everyone deserves access to healthy and nutritious meals. We work to provide this valuable food assistance to individuals and families in need through a variety of partner organizations, including food pantries, shelters, social service organizations, medical offices, and community centers, but that comes with a price. The meals we produce cost an average of $5-7 each, to procure supplies and ingredients, prepare, assemble, cook and deliver. Every penny of your donation will go to ensuring these costs are met.

Feed Every Need's prepared meals are a valuable resource for our community, providing individuals and families with access to healthy and nutritious meals, and in turn, improving physical and mental health and well-being, reducing the risk of hunger and malnutrition, and providing some peace of mind in troubling times. We are asking for your support to help us make this program a lasting reality.

Feed Every Need has an open position for 20-25 hours per week, M-F, 8am-12/1pm, working in our kitchen at The Woods Lodge, preparing meals to community centers, shelters, food pantries, and other organizations that distribute them to those in need.
A working knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling is preferred but not required, as training is available. Candidate should have a vehicle with AWD and snow tires to get up our hill.
Starting pay minimum of $18/hour, with the potential for more for an applicant with commercial kitchen experience.

Do Some Good, and Make a Little Extra $

Feed Every Need, a Northfield-based nonprofit that provides prepared meals to organizations for distribution to those in need, is looking to hire a dependable, responsible and personable adult (over age 18) with a reliable, clean and well-insured vehicle (AWD and snow tires needed in winter) to deliver meals from our location in Northfield to partner locations in Northfield, Barre, Berlin, Montpelier and Morrisville.
Delivery days are Wednesdays thru Fridays between 9am and 1pm.
Roughly 8-10 hours per week.
$16/hr plus mileage.

Delivery Driver Needed
Part-time delivery driver needed to transport prepared meals to our partner organizations. Currently Wednesdays-Fridays between 9am and 1pm. About 10hr per week plus mileage. Drop offs in Northfield, Barre/Berlin, Morrisviile and Montpelier. Perfect for someone with time on their hands! Must have a reliable AWD car, experience with winter driving and up to date car insurance.

Feed Every Need will be on the Common today (right in front of Depot Square Pizza) for the Northfield Labor Day Parade and celebration, accepting donations and collecting signatures to be on the Northfield, town budget.
