A birthday cake is more than dessert, it’s a reminder that someone cares 🩷🎂 Community Lodgings

Thank you Cake4Kids of Northern Virginia for your longstanding partnership and for providing birthday cakes for our students 🎂

Did you know that many at-risk and underserved youth go without a birthday cake each year? 💔

Cake4Kids is mission to change that, and we’re honored to partner with an organization that brings joy to so many young people. They deliver beautiful, custom-made treats to at-risk and underserved youth, including those in kinship care, survivors of domestic violence, youth living in low-income housing, those experiencing homelessness, and many other vulnerable situations. Each cake is a reminder that someone took the time and care to do something special just for them.

A huge thank you to the volunteer bakers who put so much love into every frosting swirl. You truly make the world a sweeter place—one cake at a time 🧁✨

Cake4Kids regularly steps up and donates homemade desserts when there's a birthday in our community. For birthdays this month, the kids enjoyed characters baked into their birthday cakes and cupcakes!

✨Yesterday, our incredible volunteer bakers came together to box 150 holiday cookie boxes! 🍪

Each box was filled with at least 15 assorted homemade cookies, lovingly baked by our very own NoVA bakers.

A huge thank-you to everyone who made this possible -from the bakers who spent hours mixing, baking, and decorating, to the volunteers who packed each box with care, and of course to those who purchased boxes to support our mission!

Every cookie box sold is more than just a donation. It’s a birthday that won’t be forgotten. It’s a child who feels seen, celebrated, and special -if only for one day.

We are so grateful for our community and for the way our chapter continues to show up, partner together, and make a meaningful impact- one cookie box, one birthday, one child at a time.
