Sadie, Mark, and Rae-Anne Laprade have been through indescribable tragedy. In 2021, Rae-Anne, a loving mother, schoolteacher, and wife was diagnosed with ALS. This diagnosis changed their whole life and since then Mark, a cranston firefighter, has taken a leave of absence from his job to be her primary caregiver. Day in and day out they have worked extremely hard to care to Rae-Anne in their home so they did not have to put her in a nursing facility. Yesterday, October 2nd, their home was destroyed by a devastating fire, leaving them with nothing and now they have to start from scratch. Luckily they all made it out of the fire unscathed but they need our support now more than ever. I have created this page in hopes to gather a community of people who are willing to help raise money, donate clothes, and support them in any way we can.
