It's that time again! Voting for RI Monthly's Best of Rhode Island is now open!

You can vote for the Scituate Art Festival in two categories:
1. Statewide—Best Annual Arts/Crafts Festival
2. West Bay—Best Local Event

Now in our 60th year, the Scituate Art Festival is a favorite Rhode Island tradition featuring over 200 juried art and craft exhibitors, select antique vendors, a food court offering regional specialties, live musical entertainment, and a huge art/craft/antique raffle.

We've been recognized over TEN times as "Best Annual Arts/Crafts Festival Statewide” by Rhode Island Monthly readers, and we’d love to be voted in again this year, our country’s 250th.

The Scituate Art Festival is an all-volunteer event, each year giving back to the town by continuing the upkeep of the historic Congregational church and by awarding grants to support a wide variety of local community organizations. We’re thankful for your continued support and hope to represent Rhode Island again as the 2026 Best Annual Art/Crafts Festival!

The Scituate Art Festival will be closing at 2 p.m. today.

Due to the impending severe weather forecasted for Monday, the art festival will be closed out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all festival exhibitors, visitors and volunteers.

While we are disappointed to miss the final day of the festival, we are confident this is the responsible course of action.

Thank you to everyone who came out this weekend. We can't wait to host you next year for the 60th annual Scituate Art Festival!

The work of Michael James Murray, pictured below, is a true practice of patience.

"My 360-degree panoramic photography begins with meticulous location scouting and planning, focusing on lighting conditions and the natural harmony of each space. Each image is composed of at least 30 individual photographs, captured with precision using an indexing mount on a tripod to ensure consistent alignment and overlap," Murray says.

Calling all artists and makers!

The Scituate Art Festival Committee would like to invite Fine Artists, Photographers, Antique Exhibitors, and Craftspeople to apply to exhibit at the 59th annual Scituate Art Festival which will be held October 11, 12, and 13, 2025 on the village green in North Scituate, RI. Please apply by March 31, 2025 for consideration in our jury selection.
