It's Summer! This means we have a lot of time on our hands! How many ways can you be thrifty by using your imagination to take ordinary household items and create some fun? Build a fort! Turn a box into a race car! Build a bird feeder out of an empty bottle!

🚨CUB SCOUT ALERT 🚨
Did you see us in the Bucyrus’ Memorial Day Parade? Starting at Washington Square and ending at Oakwood Cemetery where upon arrival we helped pass out programs to those that still needed them for the Ceremony. You can catch a broadcast of the Ceremony on Crawford County Now starting 9:00pm tonight!

As our 2025 - 2026 Scout Year is coming to a close, we would like to take a moment to thank everyone that has supported us throughout the year. Your contributions big or small is greatly appreciated by all of our Cub Scouts, their Adult Partners and our Volunteers. We would not be able to bring together such a meaningful program without you.

This week all of our Cub Scouts were awarded their ranks and were recognized in advancing to the next level. We are so proud of all of our Cubs for their hard work and dedication this year including our unofficial Dragon rank! Congrats everyone and we are excited to see how you tackle next year!

At Crossover, our Arrows of Light were awarded their rank and have officially crossed over to the Troop level of Scouting America. We are so proud of our AOLs for their hard work and dedication towards achieving their rank and look forward to seeing what you accomplish in either Troop 35 or another Troop of your choosing. We also want to thank their families and the volunteers that have supported them along their adventures in scouting.

Crazy weather predications this week from Potential Tornados turning to Thunderstorms to High Winds and the day of is now a freeze! We watched the weather closely and reimagined our camp plans ultimately making the decision to pivot to a day camp to make sure it was safe for our Cub Scouts!

Glad we kept it alive since today was full of fun! Earning our Champions of Nature Adventures thanks to classes about recycling and making a soil salad from the Crawford Soil & Water Conservation District.

We also earned our A250 patch as we expressed freedom, happiness & fairness, made beeswax candles, wrote thank you letters for our troops, learned about first aid / calling for help safely and having a celebration 250th birthday party for America.

Great way to wrap up the year before our Crossover and Rank Advancements! Way to go Cub Scouts!
