Dobby is still waiting for his forever home. 💙

Dobby has officially been with us for a month, and this little guy has been such a fun addition to the rescue. He’s a 3–4-year old sprint line Alaskan Husky weighing around 20 pounds, and while he may not have quite as much puppy energy as a younger Husky, he is absolutely ready to find a family who wants to bring him along on all their adventures.

Dobby is kennel trained, house trained, and knows his basic commands, making him a pretty great little package!

He has done well with dogs and kids. Cats are currently unknown, but Dobby does not appear to have the prey drive that would immediately concern us. As always, slow and proper introductions are important when bringing any new animal into a home to help set everyone up for success.

Dobby is ready for his people. 🥹💙

Amber has been patiently waiting 108 days for someone to finally choose her.

Ater everything this sweet girl has been through, we desperately want her next chapter to be the one that lasts forever. 🥺

Amber is a 7-year-old, 70 lb Anatolian Shepherd mix with the world’s gentlest demeanor. She is truly a gentle giant who has stolen the hearts of everyone who has gotten to know her.

She is great with dogs, kids, and has even done wonderfully with the cats she has met at adoption events! But more than anything, Amber is happiest when she is with her people. ❤️

Unfortunately, Amber has been passed around throughout her life. She has never gotten to experience what it feels like to truly be someone’s forever dog, and we think it’s about time she gets that chance.

In foster care, Amber has been nothing but an absolute sweetheart. She is incredibly tolerant, easygoing, and puts up with just about everything life throws her way. She has the kind of calm, patient personality that makes you wonder how she has gone so long without someone realizing just how special she is.

Amber can occasionally be vocal, and while her voice may sound intimidating if you aren’t familiar with the breed, it is mostly her guardian-breed genetics talking! She is not the scary dog her big bark might make her sound like. Underneath that big voice is a soft, gentle girl who just wants to be loved and included. 🥹

At 7 years old, Amber isn’t looking for a lifetime of adventure or chaos. She’s looking for a soft place to land, a family who will keep their promises, and a home where she can finally know that she isn’t going anywhere.

Meet Chance! 🎲

Chance is a 7-week-old Lab/Pit mix, just like his dad, Loki, who also came to us from Huslia!

This curious, s***ky little guy has a whole lot of personality packed into those puppy paws! 🐾 He loves exploring, investigating anything that catches his attention, and finding new ways to keep everyone around him entertained.

Chance is definitely your typical playful, curious puppy, but underneath all that puppy energy is an incredibly sweet little guy who loves being close to his people. He is happiest when he can be right in the middle of whatever is going on!

At 7 weeks old, Chance is still very much a baby and will need a family prepared for all the fun, and work that comes with raising a puppy. He’ll need continued socialization, training, patience, and lots of opportunities to learn how to be the very best dog he can be.

If you’re looking for a goofy little adventure buddy who will keep you laughing and fill your home with puppy love, Chance might just be your guy! 💛🐶.

Meet Loki! 💚

Loki is a 1-year-old Lab/Husky mix from Huslia, and this handsome boy is ready to find his forever family!

Loki has previously been an inside dog, but as he got older, his previous owners began keeping him outside for the majority of his time. He came to us on a two-hour flight in a crate that was far too small for him, followed by another 30-minute car ride. After all of that, the moment he was finally able to stretch his legs and decompress, Loki showed us exactly who he really is — an incredibly sweet, happy, goofy, loving dog. ❤️

Loki has been reported to be good with kids, and he has done well with other dogs. He is a social, friendly guy who seems to genuinely love being around people and having fun.

Because Loki hasn’t consistently lived inside recently, we aren’t sure yet how much house-training or kennel training he knows. But considering how eager, happy, and people-oriented he is, we think he has so much potential to become an amazing inside companion with someone willing to give him the time and consistency he needs.

Loki is also an active boy with plenty of energy! His foster is an active dog person who runs her dogs with bikejoring, and Loki has absolutely thrived with that kind of outlet. He would love a home that wants a dog to hike, run, explore, adventure, and then come home and be your best friend. 🐕💨

He isn’t looking for a life stuck in the backyard — Loki deserves to be part of the family and have someone who will help him learn what it means to be an inside dog while giving him appropriate outlets for all that Husky/Lab energy.

If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, active adventure buddy who is ready to learn and love his people with his whole heart, Loki might be your guy. 🖤

UPDATE: Babette, Jess, Paris and Luke has been adopted!

Officially meet our Gilmore Girls litter! 🍂☕️

These adorable 10-ish week old kittens are officially ready to find their forever homes! 🐾💕

This sweet bunch had a pretty rough start to life. They were born under a shed in a backyard and spent their early days fending for themselves and learning how to survive on their own. Since coming into rescue, though, these little ones have absolutely blossomed! 🥹🤍

They’ve gone from cautious little outdoor babies to curious, playful kittens who are learning that people can be pretty wonderful. They’ve already made huge strides in confidence and socialization, and we couldn’t be more proud of them!

They’ll need adopters who are willing to continue giving them patience, encouragement, and plenty of love as they settle into their new lives. They may need a little time to fully come out of their shells, but we know their personalities are only going to shine brighter with someone in their corner. ✨

And because they’re already checking off all the important kitten boxes… they have been using their litter box perfectly! 🙌🐱

These babies are playful, sweet, curious, and ready for the next chapter of their lives. We can’t wait to see them grow into the amazing cats we know they’re going to be. 💗

Come get your sweet fix for the week at our second “Bakes For” fundraiser! 🧁

The last time we hosted a Bakes For fundraiser, our incredible community showed up for our Lucy girl while she underwent thousands of dollars in testing. This time, we’re coming together for Piper! 🤍

Piper is our sweet Great Dane who has been struggling with a severe case of happy tail since May. Despite medication, careful wrapping, and everyone’s best efforts to protect it, her tail has had an incredibly difficult time healing.

Ours and our vets goal, is to continue giving it every possible chance to heal. However, the probability that Piper will ultimately need her tail amputated is high. We’ve included the veterinary estimate so our community can see exactly what we are preparing for and where the money raised will go.

Come stock up on delicious homemade treats while helping us cover Piper’s ongoing care and potentially life changing surgery. Every cupcake, cookie, and baked good purchased brings us one step closer to getting this beautiful girl comfortable, healthy, and ready for her forever home. 🐾

🚨Urgent foster or adopted needed for Daisy girl

Daisy’s owner has graciously continued caring for her while we search for a new home, as foster homes have been incredibly hard to find this summer. Unfortunately, Daisy has been showing signs of protectiveness of the newborn in her current home, making finding a suitable placement urgent for everyone’s safety.

Daisy is 6 years old, dog friendly, and has done well with children previously. Her behavior around the newborn is an important placement consideration, and she would thrive with a toddler/older child. Daisy has also lived successfully with cats, but introductions to cats and other small furry friends will need to be slow and carefully supervised.

This girl has attended two events with us and was the star of the show both times! She is an absolute love bug who knows basic commands, is kennel trained, and is house trained. She has so much love to give and plenty of s***k left in her. If you didn’t know she was 6, you might never guess! 🐾

Meet Metallica, also affectionately known as “Hissy Face” by his foster mom! 🖤🎸

Metallica is a young adult kitty who came to us from Mat-Su after being rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite his rough start to life, he has made incredible strides toward learning that people can be safe and that indoor life isn’t so scary.

Metallica has never once swatted, bitten, or lunged at anyone—he simply hisses. At this point, we’re pretty sure that’s just how he says hello! Anytime he sees you, he gives you a quick little hiss and then goes right back to relaxing and minding his own business.

Underneath his tough heavy-metal exterior is a playful, well-mannered kitty who uses the litter box without fail. He just needs a patient, understanding family who will accept him exactly as he is and allow him to continue building confidence at his own pace.

Metallica may not immediately climb into your lap, but with time, patience, and love, we know he can continue growing into the strong, confident kitty he was always meant to be. Since he is a scaredy kitty his adoption fee is discounted to $150

Meet Junie! 🤍

Junie is approximately 2 years old, weighs around 20 pounds, and still has plenty of puppy energy packed into her little body! She loves running, playing, exploring, and staying busy. She would thrive with an active family willing to give her plenty of exercise, enrichment, and continued training.

This sweet girl gets along well with other animals and children. Because she can get a little overexcited and doesn’t always realize how small she is, she may accidentally trample very young children during playtime.

Junie is house-trained and does a great job waiting by the door when she needs to go outside. However, her future family will need to pay attention to her signal—if she has to wait too long, she may have an accident. She is also kennel-trained and willingly goes into her kennel without putting up a fight!

Junie has pretty good recall, isn’t known to be a runner or escape artist, and typically comes right back when called. She enjoys having the freedom to run around and play but still wants to stay close to her people.

Junie would benefit greatly from an obedience class to help build her confidence, strengthen her bond with her new family, and teach her some needed basic commands. She is still young, eager to learn, and has so much potential with someone willing to give her consistency and guidance.

Junie is a fun-sized ball of energy looking for a family who will embrace her playful personality and help her become the best version of herself. If you’re looking for a happy, active little companion to keep you laughing and join you on all of life’s adventures, Junie may be the perfect girl for you! 🐾
