Happy HAPPY National Dog Day to our one and only Crisis Canine Jax!! 🐾 In 2025 Jax and his handler Cpl. Trevino became only the second Crisis Canine Team to be certified in the State of Nebraska. Since then, our team has had multiple deployments providing peer support for First Responders and Victims.

Don’t let this guy fool you though!! When he’s not out giving love you can find him doing normal doggy things. Jax enjoys naps, treats and micromanaging the neighborhood from the back of the couch!!

Jax and I had the opportunity to do peer support yesterday for our First Responders that are here assisting with the wildfires!!

Also pictured below is Chaplain Kaiser from Sarpy County Sheriffs Office and Crisis Canine Henry!!

I am absolutely in love with Henry you guys!! 🥰 He and Jax knocked it out of the park with all the love they received!! My heart was so full!!

Governor Pillen has declared a state of emergency and deployed our National Guard.

It is devastating and absolutely one of the most helpless feelings in the world to watch this happen ❤️‍🩹
