A Group Effort Organized By Participants Of The NP Chamber Of Commerce Program, Leadership Lincoln County
Who is Fix North Platte? Fix North Platte (FNP) is a group organized by individuals who are participating in the program, Leadership Lincoln County (LLC) a program offered by the NP Chamber of Commerce. The LLC program is a year-long in duration, participants meet once a month to learn, tour and see everything that is North Platte. A requirement to 'graduate' LLC is to do something which will benefit the community. LLC is composed of multiple groups, a group with a mission to benefit the humane community decided to organize Fix North Platte. What is the mission? FNP's mission is to raise enough funds so that a minimum of 25 animals can be spayed or neutered through PAWS-itive Partners. PAWS-itive Partners, through an application process, offers financial help to pet owners who have a pet which requires a 'fix'. Fixing an animal is an expensive job and the cost varies depending on the animal, gender and weight. Our goal
Our goal is a minimum of 25 animals, an accurate number of funds required for 25 procedures is nearly impossible, the goal may require more or less than $2000. Anything you can donate is a major contribution to our cause! All donation are tax deductible! You're helping contain the number of animals who have an uncertain fate on the streets, animals which reproduce and the owners are unable to keep the babies due to a lack of funds. If the pet owner doesn't have funds to take care of baby animals, they more than likely didn't have enough money to get the animal fixed. Are you tired seeing stray cats in your yard or around town?
