🕯️ WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇭🇹
January 12th, 2010 — a day Haiti was shaken to its core, but never broken.

In just seconds, hundreds of thousands of lives were lost, homes destroyed, and families forever changed. But through the devastation, the strength of the Haitian people was revealed to the world. Resilient. Unshakable. Still standing.

Today we remember those we lost, honor the survivors, and recommit ourselves to building stronger — not just in Haiti, but throughout the diaspora.

💔 And while we remember, we must also act.
Many of the same Haitians granted Temporary Protected Status (TPS) after the quake are now facing the possibility of losing it on February 3rd — at risk of being sent back to a country still reeling from instability and gang violence.

🗣️ We must raise our voices. We must protect our people. Nou pap bliye. Nou pap lage. Ayiti se nou. Nou se Ayiti.

Bethel High School for the third time this year, along with Farm Share and From Charcoal to Diamonds, under the leadership of Principal Madrigal and Dr. Eugenise Mompremier as we continue our commitment to serving families in need . Join us for a Thanksgiving Food Distribution tomorrow, November 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 16150 NE 17th Ave, North Miami Beach, FL 33162. First come, first served as we come together to feed families in need. Please share with a family or friend in need.

🌎✨ Hispanic Heritage Month may be over… but our celebration never ends! ✨🌎

At the Escarment Foundation, we honor our Hispanic brothers and sisters all year long — because you never stop fighting the good fight. You continue showing up for justice, for families, for equity, and for our communities. ❤️

This past Saturday evening, we celebrated several pillars in our Hispanic community — from those who paved the way to our young new leaders rising up, including Carlos Madrid, Sébastien, Adelys Ferro, Maria Corina Vegas, Juan Fernandez-Barquin, Evelyn Poyato, Juan Cuba, and Prospero G. Herrera II ( first Black/Hispanic elected council member in Miami Shores)!

It was an evening to remember — filled with dancing, singing, laughter, games, comedy, and a few heartfelt tears. 💃🏽🎶😂❤️

Thank you all for always giving back and for standing with the Escarment Foundation and the legacy of my father. Together, we’ll continue building bridges, celebrating culture, and uplifting our communities — not just one month a year, but every single day.
