Founded from lived experience, C.A.I.S for Mothers was created to offer hope, resources, and support to moms facing homelessness, hardship, or crisis.

🧥✨ Our 4th Annual C.A.I.S. for Mothers Coat Drive is Here! ✨🧥
This one is emotional for me. I’ve gone back and forth on whether I wanted to do it this year because doing it without my pastor just feels different. He used to light up with excitement every time this drive came around. He’d call me to the front of the church to share what C.A.I.S. for Mothers was all about and why this cause meant so much to me.
Not having him here this year truly pains me… but I know him well enough to know he wouldn’t have it any other way. He’d want the mission to continue. So, with love and faith in my heart, the show goes on. Our 4th Annual Coat Drive will run from November 10th–24th. We’re collecting new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, and other winter items to bless families in need. At the end of the two weeks, every single item collected will be donated to Dorcas House, a home that provides refuge and support for single mothers and their
children.

If you know my story, you know why this is so close to my heart. I’ve walked that road—and now, by God’s grace, I get to help other mothers and children walk through winter a little warmer, a little more loved.

💛 Community, We Need You 💛
I rarely ask, but today I’m reaching out on behalf of a mother who truly needs us right now. She’s doing everything she can to care for her three beautiful children, but times are incredibly tough.

She has:
👧🏽 A daughter wearing size 7/8 in clothes and size 1Y in shoes
👦🏽 A son in size 10/12 and shoe size 3.5
👦🏽 Another son in size 14/16 and shoe size 6Y

They’re in need of gently used or new clothing, shoes, and basic items to help them feel comfortable and confident as we head into the school year.

If you have anything to give—whether it’s items, gift cards, or even just sharing this post—it all matters.

📍Local drop-offs can be arranged, and I’m happy to pick up if needed.

🎉 Today We Turn 3! 🎉
Today marks 3 years since the birth of C.A.I.S for Mothers — and my heart is so full. 💛

This nonprofit was born out of my own struggle. As a single mother who once faced homelessness with my two children, I know what it feels like to have nowhere to turn, no help, and no resources. I remember those days so clearly — the fear, the exhaustion, and the prayers whispered through tears.

But God turned my pain into purpose. 🙌🏾
And C.A.I.S — which stands for Compassionate and Inspirational Support — became the answer I once needed.

In the last 3 years, we’ve offered love, hope, and tangible help to mothers in crisis. And we’re just getting started.

💫 The mission is simple:
To show up for mothers the way I wish someone had shown up for me.
To be a light, a resource, a reminder that they are not alone.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this vision. Here’s to more growth, more impact, and more hearts touched. 💐
