This is Good Because

“This is good because” is something I pull out when something rough has happened and I need to re-evaluate and reframe. When the unknown is all I see I pray and actually say out loud “This is good.” This may not completely turn things around, but it sure does turn me around. It helps me to reframe my thoughts and lift me out of the negative mindset that I find myself stuck in that moment.

There will never be a moment when God is not intimately close to us and profoundly aware of what we need. When we anticipate and look forward to the good ways God is moving in our lives, it will be far better for our minds, souls and our nervous system.

Give this practice a try. It will move your face upward and your feet forward.

Being intentional calls us to keep the right things in and the wrong things out.

May we be intentional
to discern and reject
the Enemy’s lies or
to be hurtful or harmful.
May we be intentional
to accept and embrace
God’s truths, words and actions.

Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Psalm 34:8

What is a reminder of God’s goodness in your life that you can share with me today? Is it a promise He has kept, a friend He has placed in your path, a meal you had today, or maybe something else? What is that one thing, big or small, that reminds you of His unwavering goodness, even in the midst of life’s challenges? Sometimes, when things feel hard, it’s the simplest moments or unexpected blessings that reflect His goodness and remind us that He is always present, providing what we need in ways we might not even expect.

My reminder today is Daises!

Are you Hungry?

A sense of need creates desire. For example, hunger is a need that prompts us to eat food. In the same way our inward spiritual needs are prompting us to feast on Jesus and His words. When we choose to join Him at His table our spiritual needs are satisfied and our joy in Jesus makes us full.

Taste ’n See that the Lord is good, oh the joys for those who take refuge in Him. Psalms 34:8
