ASPSF Development Officer Shaila Creekmore recently attended the third annual Chat N’ Chew hosted by the Carl B. and Florence E. King Foundation in West Memphis!

The event brought funders, nonprofits, and community organizations together to connect, share ideas and, discuss how they can work together to meet the needs of the communities they serve.

Shaila had the chance to share information about ASPSF and the work we do to support single parents and their families. Thank you to the Carl B. and Florence E. King Foundation for bringing organizations across the Delta together. Innovation and collaboration will continue to keep our communities strong!

Our recipients’ children were able to have a blast this summer!
We want to thank the Arden J. Stephens Foundation Inc. for their generous support, making it possible for 36 children of our recipients’ in Pulaski County to attend camps this summer for free.

From exploring various art museums and creating sculptures to participating in plays and making new friends, our recipient’s children were able to gain new skills, explore their creativity, and make memories that will last beyond this past summer!

Program Manager Carrie Allen attended the The Warrior Center Semi-Annual Employment & Resource Fair!
This faith-based nonprofit, led by Rev. Carolyn Carolyn Whiteside, serves minority women in Jonesboro and Northeast Arkansas with job training and placements along with educational opportunities.

“It is always a pleasure to work with Rev. Carolyn and participate in The Warrior Center Job and Resource Fairs. The opportunity to come together with other organizations and businesses to help educate the community about available services is greatly appreciated. This is a very valuable service for our community, and I look forward to the next one!”

Say hello to the newest member of Team ASPSF! 👋 Cayla Cole joined us this fall as our Communications Intern, and she’s already jumped right in!

A senior studying strategic communications at Arkansas State University , Cayla has been helping tell ASPSF’s story through social media, writing, and other communications projects.

She’s brought plenty of creativity, curiosity, and fresh ideas to the team, and we’re excited for everything she’ll take on this semester.

A few things to know about Cayla: She calls Helena home, graduates this December, loves Wicked, and appreciates a sweet coffee shop drink.

We’re so glad Cayla chose to spend her final semester of college with ASPSF. Help us give her a warm welcome with a ❤️!

ASPSF Program Manager Carrie Allen recently joined Arkansas State University for its annual Community and Organization Fair! 🐺❤️🎓

The event welcomed students back to campus while connecting them with local businesses, organizations, and opportunities both on and off campus.

“The A-State Community and Organization Fair is always one of my favorite events of the year! It’s so rewarding to talk to so many students, faculty, and staff about ASPSF in a short period of time. And it’s a fun event with lots of stuff going on! But my favorite part is getting to visit with so many alumni and current recipients of our program who come by the booth.” — Carrie Allen
