As of June 1st, our club proudly celebrates 45 years of service, commitment, and impact. As we mark this milestone, we reflect on the many achievements we have accomplished together and the meaningful difference we have made both in our local community and throughout the global Soroptimist organization.

We are deeply grateful to our members for their dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to our shared mission of improving the lives of women and girls. Your service, support, and passion continue to inspire positive change, and we look forward to many more years of making a difference together.

On May 2nd, Jean Rube and Karen Maxwell-Strahl delivered 28 purses and scarves to Safe Haven in celebration of Mother’s Day. These thoughtful donations were collected by our members to help bring comfort and encouragement to the women served by Safe Haven. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful project!

Congratulations to the newly installed South Central Region officers who were installed during our conference in Kansas City on April 25th. Wishing each of you a successful and inspiring year of leadership and service!

A special congratulations to one of our own, Kelly Landry, on her installation as Region Secretary. We are proud of you and know you will do an outstanding job!

In March, we held our Awards Banquet to honor our Live Your Dream Award recipients and Healthcare Scholarship winners.
We are proud to share that our first-place Live Your Dream recipient, Shejana Verse, advanced to the South Central Region level and was awarded 2nd Place in the region in April.

Then in May, our Healthcare Scholarship recipient, Thea Einerson, was recognized at the Northland Community Foundation Breakfast.

We are incredibly proud of these outstanding women and all they are accomplishing!
