BOARD MEMBER HIGHLIGHT: Kevin Lutz — Stoney’s Rockin’ Rodeo
If you’ve spent any time on Del Paso Boulevard, chances are you know Stoney's Rockin' Rodeo, a Sacramento original that continues to bring people through the doors for great food, music, dancing and a one-of-a-kind night out.
At the heart of Stoney’s is Kevin Lutz, longtime owner and entrepreneur—and a longtime board member of the Greater North Sacramento Chamber of Commerce.
Kevin brings something special to our Chamber: real-world experience in the restaurant, hospitality and entertainment industries, along with an understanding of what it takes to operate a successful business in North Sacramento.
Today, Stoney’s Rockin’ Rodeo is an active entertainment and dining destination on Del Paso Boulevard, offering something different almost every night of the week.
The current weekly lineup includes all-ages line dancing on Mondays, country swing and partner dancing on Tuesdays, Country College Night on Wednesdays, Salsa Night on Thursdays, and country dancing and entertainment throughout the weekend.
And it's not just about dancing.
Stoney’s continues to attract customers with a full restaurant menu, bar, daily specials and favorites such as prime rib, ribeye, tri-tip, burgers, sandwiches and other hearty American fare. Recent customer feedback continues to highlight the food—particularly the prime rib and steaks—as one of the reasons people keep coming back. The result is a business that offers something increasingly valuable in today's marketplace:
