We had a fantastic weekend with everyone who came out on Saturday for this year’s Annual Fishing Tournament Fundraiser. We want to send out a special thank you to all of those who donated and sponsored this year. Without the support of our community we could not do what we do for our Lee County Florida 4-H youth.

We also want to congratulate all of our winning angler this year. And boy oh boy were the fishing biting! This year our anglers needed to catch 2 trouts, a red, and a snook. Winner were determined by total inches captured and released.

Team Winners:
1st place - Thin Line Charters, 101in.
2nd place - Tug Therapy, 100in.
3rd place - U.S. Sugar 2, 88.25in.

Blowfish - Acton Academy Alva

Individual Winners:
Shiner
1st place - Ryder James, 82.25in.

Youth
1st place - Jason Reed, 21.5in.
2nd place - Corbynn Woodall, 19.5in.

Adult
1st place - John Pencil, 51.25in.

We want to send out a special thank you to Winn-Dixie, Lawhon's Grocery & Meat, and Publix for donating the food for our Annual Fishing Tournament. And of course a huge thank you to Joe and Cherie more with CJ’s Masonry for cooking all of our burgers and hot dogs.

We also want to thank Josie and Kolby our youth volunteers who have been such an amazing help today. You name it and they have been right there to help!

Our raffle items are ready! Are you? Here is a sneak peak of our high dollar raffle items.

Come on out to the Lee County 4-H Foundations Annual Fishing Tournament to support our Lee County Florida 4-H youth program. All proceeds go to the graduating senior scholarships and other fun events held throughout the year at county, districts, and state level events. 🍀

Come on down to the Lee Civic Center now until 4pm for some raffle items, dinner ($10), and see who caught the biggest (or smallest) fish this year!

We also have a few shirts up for grabs at $20 a piece.

You do not need to be a 4-H’er to come on by and support such an amazing program.
