The Helping Each other Rise Organization (HERO) of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (UMass Dartmouth) is a student organization on campus. The mission of HERO is to support, teach, empower and motivate the women of UMass Dartmouth with a focus in civic engagement activities/projects by providing them the necessary tools to become leaders, to succeed on campus and in the community. HERO st

rives to provide a positive and safe environment for students to learn, to laugh, to grow and to become stronger people. HERO is committed to providing diverse programming and opportunities on and off campus to give back to the community.
