Back at one of our favorite places!

We had the opportunity to provide counselor training as part of the onboarding process for the summer staff at North Branford Parks & Recreation.

One of the most rewarding parts of these trainings is having genuine conversations with counselors about their personal experiences, asking questions, and learning how they can best support and serve individuals within the differently-abled community.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with North Branford Parks & Recreation and their ongoing commitment to creating inclusive, welcoming, and safe spaces for all. Together, we are helping build a community where every individual feels valued, supported, and empowered to participate. 💜

Exciting news!!

We are excited to welcome Alyssa Rae Taglia as the emcee for our 3rd Annual Beyond the Horizon Golf Tournament!

Alyssa is a beloved and respected TV personality here in Connecticut and has been a close personal friend of our program and family for many years. We are incredibly grateful for her continued support and thrilled to have her join us for this special event.

Summer Fun Sib Shop! ☀️💛

Today, we hosted another wonderful Sib Shop session in collaboration with North Branford Parks & Recreation!
Our sibs got creative making patriotic wreaths, decorating cupcakes, and chatting about their summer plans—all while sharing plenty of smiles, laughter, and special bonding moments. ❤️🤍💙

Sib Shops are designed to give siblings of individuals with disabilities a space to connect, share experiences, and build supportive friendships with others who truly understand their unique journey.

A heartfelt thank you to Kerry and Sarah from North Branford Parks & Rec for facilitating today's program and helping make the morning so special!

for creating fun take-home kits for our sibs to enjoy after the event!

Congrats to the Challenger Team of the North Haven Max Sinoway League! ⚾

We’re proud to celebrate and support the Challenger Team—an adaptive T-ball team made up of incredible individuals of differing abilities who share one thing in common: a love for the game!

As part of the Max Sinoway League, these amazing athletes participate in weekly practices and games that foster teamwork, friendship, and joy in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

The Challenger Team gives players a chance to be part of a competitive sport, build social connections, and most importantly—have fun!

We are so honored to have sponsored post-game and post-practice snacks and treats for all players and program helpers throughout the season!

And a big shoutout Coach Danielle and Max Sinoway Baseball for continuing to champion inclusion by making space for this team and offering such a meaningful opportunity.

Friendship.

Creating genuine and meaningful friendships is something many parents of children with disabilities or additional needs worry about. We hope our children will find people who truly see them, understand them, accept them, and value them for exactly who they are.

Watching Colton build those kinds of friendships has been one of the greatest gifts as his parent. Seeing him laugh, connect, and simply be himself with friends who understand him and love him for who he is fills my heart in a way that's hard to put into words.

I am so grateful for Jack, pictured here, and friends like him. The friendship they share is built on kindness, acceptance, understanding, and genuine connection. As a parent, there is something incredibly special about watching your child find a place where they belong—and people who make them feel seen, valued, and loved.

Those friendships mean more than words can express. ❤️

A wonderful evening in Middlefield!

We were so grateful for the invitation to the Middlefield/Durham Pack 33 Rank Up Ceremony and truly honored by the recognition and appreciation for the workshop we provided a few months ago. It was so wonderful to witness tonight's ceremony.

We are thankful for communities and organizations that are committed to promoting awareness, understanding, and education about individuals with different abilities. These opportunities to connect, learn, and grow together make a meaningful impact.

We had the pleasure of sponsoring a quiet sensory space for Totoket Valley Elementary School’s Color Run!

As the school’s biggest event of the year and such a popular community tradition, the Color Run brings so much excitement and energy. But with all the fun can also come a lot of overstimulation for some children and families.

We were incredibly grateful to once again provide a calming, relaxing sensory space where individuals could take a break, regulate, and still be part of all the fun. We’re proud to have brought this space to the Color Run for the second year in a row!
