📣 NBBA Rec Is Looking for Volunteers for the 2027 Season! ⚾🥎
As we begin planning for 2027, we’re looking for a few dependable, community-minded individuals to join our leadership team. These positions will help divide responsibilities, strengthen our program, and create an even better experience for our players and families.
💥 Sponsorship & Events Coordinator
Build relationships with local businesses and secure sponsorships based on the league’s needs and 2027 budget. This person would also help register, organize, and plan league events such as parades, fall P*e Wee clinics, midseason activities, and end-of-year tournaments.
💥 Concessions Coordinator
Oversee the organization and operation of our concession stand. Responsibilities would include cleaning and organizing the concession shed, purchasing and stocking items, managing inventory, and scheduling volunteers during games.
💥 Umpire Coordinator
Recruit and schedule umpires based on their experience and the levels they are qualified to work. This person would maintain our umpire list, communicate with neighboring associations to expand our options, and help coordinate training opportunities.
💥 Field & Maintenance Coordinator
Help organize field preparation throughout the season, including scheduling volunteers for chalking, dragging, and other general field-maintenance responsibilities.
💥 Softball Coordinator
Partner with the league director to help grow and improve the softball side of our program. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about creating more opportunities and a positive experience for our softball players, coaches, and families.
You don’t need to do everything alone, our board and other volunteers will be available to help! We’re looking for people who are organized, dependable, willing to communicate, and excited to support youth baseball and softball in our community.
