Smelt the lilac's in our yard, as I was walking around I was thinking about Kodee and all of the things I would miss doing with her during the summer. Then this beautiful blue swallowtail landed in front of me.
I believe is was her way of saying hi mommy 🩵🦋 it'll be ok

Did this for you Kodee Girl and all of our other heart babies/ kids and anyone that has been affected by heart disease

I won't stop advocating until this terrible disease is someday gone.

We also got to meet up with two of Kodee's main nurses Alexis and Dani 🩷

To say I was emotional and excited was an understatement ❤️❤️❤️

6 months... half a year.. 182 days... since you gained your angel wings. I hate this day... the 25th of every month is a reminder of how you're gone.
Trying to figure out what to do with my life again has been hell. I have been working hard this weekend to get your memorial garden going.
The flowers probably won't bloom until later this summer.... but it will be a beautiful reminder that you're still here with us. It might look a little different , but I know you're watching us everyday.

Mommy's last year of her 20's.
I broke down crying, asking god why I was lucky enough to have 29 years, but you were only given 2 1/2 months.

But you gave me the best gift ever.
I woke up to little butterflies flying around in our yard and the most beautiful weather.
