Viking Vittles

09/14/2026

Yesterday our friends at Trinity Lutheran Church packed Viking Vittles bags as part of their annual God's Work, Our Hands day of service. Viking Vittles is just one of the good works Trinity's congregants helped with during their fall kick-off event. Thank you to the volunteers of all ages who helped us feed our community!

Viking Vittles is looking for volunteers to deliver the totes to both Sunrise River School and the Education Center. You would do it once a month. Totes can be delivered either Tuesday or Wednesday mornings. Last year we delivered 7 totes to the Education Center and 23 to Sunrise each week. Totes weigh between 25-28 #. Please contact Donna at 612-363-5072 with questions or to volunteer.

Viking Vittles is truly a community affair. Everything is done by unpaid volunteers, like these high school students from Trinity Lutheran Church's EDGE Youth Program. They come together once a month and spend their evening packing hundreds of bags of food for North Branch Area Public Schools students in need.

The kids are all right!
