And now the bad news.......someone (or something) pulled all of the growing garlic out of the soil.

I. Am. So. Sad.

I have put everything back in the soil, and hopefully it may try to start growing again.

Garlic is not harvested until early to mid-July.

It was donated, but also a bit expensive for our benefactor.

We are working on education on w**ding and harvesting that will be coming soon

We post work days that we will be glad to help you recognize w**ds versus vegies/fruits.

Thanks so much for your understanding.

The good news......Our potato experiment seems to be working. So excited to see the new growth.

This will be the last planting of cool weather crops. Next up: warm weather crops. Lots of peppers, tomatoes, and squash in the greenhouse getting ready for their debut.

It was a GREAT morning to be in the garden.

Potato experiment #1 is started. Red and Early Ohio potatoes are started using the milk crate method. It will be fun to see what our yield will be.

Lots popping up in the garden. Radish, snap peas, snow peas, lettuce, spinach, and kale.

Our garlic is looking pretty good.

Next work/planting day will be Friday, April 17, 2026 0830am. Hope to see you then!!!

Happy planting.

Well, I believe it is time to get YOUR garden started!!!

Cool weather crops and a potato planter will be first up.

If you can, and weather permitting, I will be at the garden on April 10 at 0830 to get some garden therapy.

Hope to see you then!!!

Tired of backbreaking potato harvests that destroy your garden AND your spine? 😫 Traditional digging wastes space, invites pests, and yields disappointingly small harvests. There's a genius vertical method using FREE milk crates! 🥔 ➡️ More in the comments. [smHiq]

Lets get this garden season started!!!

Beat the rain: started some cool weather crops, fertilized the garlic, potatoes are ordered, and have some sweet potatoes propagated for sweet potato slips.

More vegies will be started this week.

Need to reposition the silage tarp as our NWOhio winds have wreaked havoc while we wait for our loads of wood mulch.

Be on the lookout for opportunities to help in YOUR garden.
