This week, your donations helped animals with skin conditions, injuries, medical concerns, and homeless pets who had nowhere else to turn. Every animal pictured here received care, advocacy, transportation assistance, veterinary support, or placement help because compassionate people in our community stepped up.

From dogs needing treatment and a second chance, to cats requiring medical attention and recovery, these are the faces of why FONAA exists. ❤️

📍 NORTH AUGUSTA POUND

🐾 Meet Rufus! 🐾

Rufus is a charming little guy looking for a fresh start and a family to call his own.

This sweet pup is approximately 2–3 years old and weighs about 14 pounds. Rufus was found abandoned in a home and was covered in fleas when he arrived. Thanks to the care of FONAA volunteers, he's been bathed, loved on, and cleaned up beautifully. The City of North Augusta has also provided his basic veterinary care, and now he's ready to begin his next chapter.

Rufus has come a long way and deserves a home where he'll never be left behind again. ❤️

🐾 Approximately 14 pounds
🐾 Small-sized companion
🐾 Sweet personality
🐾 Ready for a loving home

🐾💙 DONATION REQUEST FOR PEPPER 💙🐾

Meet Pepper, a young kitten rescued by a caring community member after being found living underneath a fence post.

Unfortunately, Pepper has developed an a**l prolapse and now needs surgery to place the tissue back where it belongs and give her the chance to heal properly.

She is currently being treated at Riverfront Veterinary Clinic in North Augusta, and we're asking for the community's help to cover her medical care.

Found dog off powerhouse rd in North Augusta. Finder unable to hold so calling North Augusta Public safety. You can text FONAA 803-426-9096 and we can let you know where dog is if you find owner. They have him for the moment but may go to Aiken County Shelter or North Augusta pound. Not sure if in city limits or not. It's on the edge.
