We had a great turnout today for Earth Month Cleanup with Hoosic River Revival! at Noel Field, and pulled a small mountain of litter out of the brush behind the old Sons of Italy along the Hoosic River.

Huge thanks to Pam Tworigand Hoosic River Revival for co-producing this cleanup! Also a big thank you to the city councilors who came out, rolled up their sleeves, and helped out: Lillian Zavatsky, Peter Breen, and Andrew Fitch. And, of course, thank you to the small army of people who came out, worked hard, and made a real difference in the community today!

I want to give a huge "thank you!" to everyone who participated in our downtown litter cleanup at First Friday last night! First Friday Litter Picking | April 2026

With your help, we removed nearly 20 bags of litter from our downtown streets.

Special congratulations to Kasi Bergeron, the winner of our awesome downtown gift bundle! 🥳

Also, big thank you to Jess and Emilee, the organizers of the Earthwork block party, for letting us hang out and join in on all the fun!

We're collecting a little publicly-sourced database of littered locations in northern Berkshire county.

We use this list when organizing volunteer litter cleanups, and it's also publicly viewable for when folks want to get out in the community and make a difference, but aren't sure where to go.
