Hey Litter Picker!
My goal has been to have at least one coordinated group cleanup per month during the nice weather but, I'm going to be real with you, I simply don't have the bandwidth to organize one for the month of July.
In addition to all this litter picking, I'm also personally in the process of applying to law school, and this month is crunch time for me.
However, I don't think my not being able to create the structure around it this month is any reason we can't all still get out there, pick up litter, and be a little bit of the change we want to see in the world, right? So I am issuing a challenge:
Pick up litter in July, send me a picture of it (either by tagging North County Litter Pickers on Facebook, or sending it to [email protected] - I'm very intentionally not on IG, sorry!) and you'll be entered to win either a really cool zero waste cleaning kit from The Plant Connector OR one free piece of North County Litter Pickers merch of your choice. At the beginning of August, I'll randomly choose a winner!
I'm not worried at all about how much litter you clean up, where it's located, any of that. Just pick up some litter, and send me a picture of it.
