Some of our Virginia Boys of Leather members had an amazing time at this year’s Western Boy Run, hosted by the Leather Boys of San Diego! Leather Boys of San Diego

It had all the fun of a typical leather run, but felt more like a retreat, with meaningful conversations about the history and future of leather boys; lots and lots silliness and fun; and of course a shared love of Leatherboy debauchery. We connected with roughly 60 Leatherboys and friends/allies, from five clubs and the broader leather community.

It was an honor to hear their stories and a privilege to share space with boys with such rich and diverse identities, united by a commitment to inclusion and service. Most of all it was good to know that regardless of how they show up in the world… boys will be boys 😍

We hate to do it, but with the Air Quality Index expected to reach around 175 today, even worse than yesterday, along with the pending Heat Advisory, we just don’t want to risk it.

The health and safety of our community always comes first, so today’s event has been postponed.

We’re sorry for the last-minute change and appreciate your understanding. Please stay tuned for our new date. We can’t wait to see you soon!

The Virginia Boys of Leather are breaking out the speedos, buckets, and plenty of soap for our first car wash fundraiser!

📍 Thirsty’s Bar & Grill parking lot
💵 Suggested donation: $20

Yes, the boys will be in speedos. Yes, your car will get clean. Everybody wins.

Proceeds go to one of our favorite charities… we just can’t put their name on the flyer. 😉 Ask us about it!

So bring us your dirty cars, your friends, and your dollar bills. We’ll take care of the rest. 🫧🚗

This year at IMLBB, the Virginia Boys of Leather showed up in service.
Every one of our boys in attendance gave back to the community — volunteering for the event, working the vendor mart, bootblacking, and supporting the spaces that make this community thrive. We also had the opportunity to connect with other boys from across the country, strengthening old friendships and building new ones along the way.
We’re proud to represent Virginia, proud to serve, and proud to stand alongside this incredible community.
