What a weekend for NAC!
Congratulations to all of our archers who competed at the Nebraska State 4-H Archery Championships! We are so proud of each and every one of you and the hard work you put in throughout the season.
Congratulations to those who placed in their events! We are proud of all of our kiddos, whether you brought home a medal or simply gave it your best.
Thank you to our NAC families for all the time, travel, and support you give our archers. It truly takes a team!

🏹 Nebraska State 4-H Archery Championships 🏹

We’re getting ready for the Nebraska State 4-H Archery Championships this weekend, September 19–20, at Heartland Public Shooting Park in Grand Island!

📍 Heartland Public Shooting Park
6788 W. Husker Hwy
Alda, NE 68810

SATURDAY – SEPTEMBER 19

• Arrive at the range between 7:15–7:30 AM.
• Meet in the parking lot by the practice targets.
• Shooting is scheduled to begin approximately at 8:00 AM.
• Wear the black and gray uniform.
• Bring rain gear! 🌧️
• Bring all archery equipment and anything you’ll need for the day.
• Help set up the NAC tent and team area.

Saturday Shoot:
We will disperse throughout the range with the different 4-H clubs for shooting. We want our archers to enjoy the experience and represent NAC well while also making sure coaches and parents stay within close range and are available to help or support as needed. Please encourage your archer to listen to range officials, be respectful, support other archers, and ask for help when needed.

SUNDAY – SEPTEMBER 20

• Arrive at the range by 7:30 AM.
• Meet in the parking lot by the practice targets.
• The first shooting line is scheduled for 8:30 AM.
• Wear the orange uniform. 🧡
• Bring rain gear! 🌧️
• Bring all archery equipment and anything you’ll need for the day.
• Help set up the NAC tent and team area.
• Sunday expectations will remain the same as Saturday—listen, be respectful, support one another, and represent NAC with a positive attitude.
• All NAC members are expected to stay through the awards ceremony at the end of the shoot. We want to celebrate everyone’s accomplishments and show our support for our teammates and fellow 4-H archers.

💰 REGISTRATION

When paying for registration, you can pay for both Saturday and Sunday at the same time. Please make sure you are registered for all events your archer will be participating in.

Good luck to all of our NAC kiddos this weekend! We are so proud of each of you and all the hard work, dedication, and time you’ve put into this season. Go out there, have fun, support one another, and give it your best shot!

Remember, you are representing NAC, your families, and your club throughout the entire weekend. Let’s represent our club to the utmost by showing respect, sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude from the moment we arrive until the very end. 🏹 NAC Madison County 4-H Archery 🏹
What a weekend for our NAC archers! Ayla, Anna Faye, Ashton, and Hunter competed at the First Dakota Classic and the Outdoor National Target Championships.
Behind every arrow was hard work, dedication, focus, and teamwork. These archers have put in countless hours practicing, encouraging one another, and continuing to push themselves to be better. Their commitment to the sport and to each other is something to be proud of!
We also want to recognize some outstanding individual accomplishments from the weekend. Ashton competed in both events and earned 3rd place, while Hunter earned 1st place at the National Shoot. Coach Griffin also earned 1st place in the second flight.
This weekend was a great reflection of the effort this group puts in day after day. From practice to competition, each archer continues to work hard, support one another, and represent NAC with pride. The girls’ hard work and dedication deserve to be recognized, and we couldn’t be more proud of all of our archers and coaches!
Way to go, NAC! Keep aiming high! 🎯🏹
