Join us on Monday! Mosaic will be taking over Omaha Baseball Village at the College World Series in Omaha to raise awareness (and funds!) for the people we serve.

The mother of two individuals Mosaic supports will take the stage to share her family’s story with sports fans from across the country.

Mosaic has been chosen to participate in Flying Flags for Charity at the College World Series! On June 15, we’ll be at Omaha Baseball Village sharing our mission and raising funds for the people we support—people like Josh and Jason.

This short video shows a brief glimpse into how Mosaic has touched their lives. Their mom will share more of their story live on stage in two weeks.

We hope you’ll swing by to hear it.

As states face difficult decisions about Medicaid funding, Mosaic continues to advocate for the investment in home- and community-based services. In our latest blog, President and CEO Linda Timmons shares why it’s important: Long-term care is too expensive for most families to afford on their own, and people with disabilities, like anyone else, deserve a say in what their lives look like. We'd like to give a shout out to It's All Fun N Games in Columbus. They let us hang out by their building when it was time to see Big Boy AND we had a great time playing games and enjoying free popsicles! It was pretty close to a perfect day!

Whew! This week is just ... rolling ... along so quickly, I almost forgot to show you pictures of our adventure last week. We got to go see Big Boy No. 4014, the world's largest steam train! It's on its way to Washington DC for July 4th, and it stopped for a bit in Columbus. It was a rainy day, but that didn't stop us!

Please join us in congratulating Brandon for winning our One Mosaic Award for embodying Faithfulness, one of Mosaic's core values!

"Brandon has been with Mosaic for several years and consistently demonstrates how much he values each individual he supports. He goes above and beyond to create meaningful connections, always ensuring that people feel heard, respected, and cared for. Brandon is friendly and approachable with everyone he works with, and he makes it a priority to meet each person’s needs every single day. He takes the time to build genuine relationships, connecting with individuals in ways that are meaningful to them, whether it’s playing ball, participating in Wii Dance, or simply sitting down to talk about their weekend. These moments, big and small, reflect his commitment to putting people first. Through his actions, Brandon exemplifies the true spirit of faithfulness by fostering trust, encouraging engagement, and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment. He is a strong team member in Day Services and has made a lasting impact since the day he started. We are incredibly grateful for Brandon and the positivity, compassion, and dedication he brings to Mosaic each day. He truly is the role model. Brandon is willing to do anything for the individuals that he cares for throughout the day. He gives it all he has, every day! Brandon is very deserving of the One Mosaic Faithfulness Award."

When you think about someone who has grit, who do you imagine? Well, we imagine someone with a smiling face and a quick joke! Congratulations, Hannah, for receiving the One Mosaic Award for embodying grit, one of our four values!

"Hannah is so deserving of the One Mosaic Grit Award because of how much she shows up every single day with dedication, heart, and a strong work ethic. She’s not only amazing with the individuals we support, but she’s also been a huge help to supervisors and the whole team. Hannah is someone you can always count on. She takes responsibility for her job and gets things done without needing to be told twice. She’s a total go-getter, if something comes up, she figures it out and finds a way to handle it. She doesn’t shy away from challenges and is always willing to step up and do what needs to be done. What really stands out about Hannah is how much she truly cares. She puts her whole heart into this job, and it shows in how she treats the individuals we support. She goes above and beyond to make each day fun, positive, and meaningful for them. You can tell this isn’t just a job to her, it’s something she genuinely cares about. Even on days that might be tough, you would never know it. She stays positive, keeps pushing forward, and gives her best no matter what. That kind of consistency and grit is hard to find. Hannah has been such a great fit with Mosaic, and we couldn’t be happier to have her on the team. She truly deserves this recognition and this award."
