Well, we can all sleep a little easier! 😅
Police have nabbed the man behind a string of early‑morning commercial break‑ins around the city.

Turns out Eddie F. Young, 54, from New Jersey, took a very extended business tour of Norfolk — except the “businesses” didn’t exactly invite him in. 👀

After several shops were hit since March 6, detectives connected the dots through surveillance footage and tracked him down. On March 31, he was charged with:
🔹 Petit larceny
🔹 Possession of burglary tools
🔹 Breaking & entering

Detectives are working a series of commercial burglaries that hit multiple businesses on March 7th along N. Military Hwy — and they’re asking the community to step up.

🕒 Early‑morning break‑ins were reported at:
• Cox Store (3:50–4:10 a.m.)
• Wings N Things (3:50–4:05 a.m.)
• Qdoba Mexican Grill (between midnight–7:00 a.m.)

Detectives reviewed surveillance footage and confirmed the incidents are connected.

If you recognize anyone involved or have any information, please contact the Norfolk Crime Line at 1‑888‑LOCK‑U‑UP or send an anonymous tip through the P3Tips app.
