💙What a great way to kick off June!💙

🍨Tuesday we hosted an ice cream sundae bar at J50. We served so many service members and their families. It was great having all the families in the center enjoy some yummy treats with us again!

🐾Wednesday we made our way to the pier to show some love to the USS STOUT (DDG 55) and the USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) with a build you own snack bag to include some stress relief items. Of course they got some Goose loves too!

📣Program Team Needs Your Help📣

🦄Are we looking for a unicorn?

We are looking for a facility in Norfolk, Virginia Beach and/or Chesapeake area that would allow us to use their facility for free. Ideally we could bring in our own crafts/activities, food and/or drinks but also happy to purchase if within our budget. We would like to travel to various locations each time so open to several different suggestions.

There are no set dates or times but mainly mornings or afternoons, weekdays and some Saturdays. This location should have a good area for conversations and connections, ac for when it's hot out is ideal, bathroom and first floor or handicap accessible. Can be on or off base.

These facilities would be for upcoming teen, family and other various events for our service members and their families.
