🌪️ MILTON, FLORIDA | HURRICANE RELIEF

I’m heading to Milton, Florida, in partnership with God’s Pit Crew, to serve families impacted by the recent hurricane.

As I go into these communities, I’ll be helping clear fallen trees and storm debris and assisting homeowners as they begin the long road toward recovery. This mission is about more than cleaning up damage. It’s about being the hands and feet of Jesus and bringing hope, encouragement, and practical help to families facing difficult days.

🚨 God’s Pit Crew is deploying volunteer teams and relief supplies to Milton, Florida, to assist the surrounding areas which received widespread and devastating damage from Hurricane Isaias.

Volunteers will help with damaged tree removal, debris removal, roof tarping, and providing care and love to those impacted. This deployment will take place October 12 - October 21.

Please join us in praying for each person impacted by this storm, for the churches and organizations helping, and for our volunteer crews as they serve as the hands and feet of Jesus during a time of great need.

Good morning and happy Wednesday my dear friends!

God's Pit Crew is doing a home rebuild in NC for 2 families from Sept 26 - Oct 10. I was asked to join and offered financial assistance for a portion of the fuel cost. However, the cost of diesel has increased nearly $2 per gallon in the last 2 weeks. So, I'm putting it out there, if anyone would like to support me for this trip, please reach out.

My mission trip with FBCE to Rancagua, Chile is coming up Oct 15 - Oct 23. I have sent out letters to a few people asking for support on the trip fees side of things. Here on Facebook is where I'll ask for support for the personal cost side of things, such as missing out on work for the week that I will be gone. Life (and bills) at home don't stop just because I'm in another country.

Typically I don't ask. However, presenting my need to those who may want to support me in that way seems like the move this time around.

Even if financial support isn't an option for you, please pray for both trips and the people on them!

I will share updates as I have them myself!

Breaking news!!! I'll be heading to Rancagua, Chile with my church in October!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 This will be my first time out of the country on mission! Please pray for me and the entire team going!? 🙏🏼 Not just while we're gone but leading up to the trip as well!

I'll try to keep you all updated and get pictures of my time there! ❤️

A couple of days after I got home from West Virginia I typed out a long post about my experience. I took time to think about what to say and what I wanted to express. When I clicked through to share the post something happened and it never actually posted. It's taken me a few weeks and another trip to get past my annoyance and create another post. 😂

I wasn't sure I would be able to make this trip. I needed funding and time off of work. I prayed about it and, as He does, God made a way. This trip was a "yes" for me! 🙌🏼

Arriving at a God's Pit Crew deployment always feels like going home! Reuniting with friends who feel like family is one of the best feelings! 🥰

While there I spent time cutting out flood damaged drywall and flooring. We searched through a mix of homeowners treasured belongings and trash and mud. We found ourselves in crawlspaces under houses to pull out wet insulation and damaged ducting. Through it all, as messy and sweaty and stinky as it was, I was filled with unimaginable joy! ✨️

When we go on these trips we give so much of ourselves, money, time, sweat, and body (physical exertion), however, we cannot out give God. Everything we give is filthy rags compared to what we receive from God. Unless or until you experience it, it's so difficult to explain. I would recommend to everyone to serve on a disaster response team at least once in their life!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped me financially and kept me in their prayers! I am a blessed woman to be able to have the experiences and opportunities to go on mission trips. To be able to be the physical hands and feet of Jesus while also sharing the light of Jesus and the Gospel with people who have been through tragic life changing events!

Volunteers will help with damaged tree removal, debris removal, roof tarping, and providing care and love to those impacted. This deployment will take place August 2 - August 14.

Please join us in praying for each person impacted by this storm, for the churches and organizations also helping, and for our crews as they serve in multiple locations as the hands and feet during these times of great need.
