A huge thank‑you to Pit Stop Bar & Grill for their incredible support of this year’s Toilet Bowl Trauma Trot & Chili Cook Off!

After the event, Pit Stop Bar & Grill donated $300, raised largely through their Event‑Day Basket Special—then generously added extra funds on top of it. Their commitment didn’t start there: they also sponsored the event as a Spicy Supporter‑level sponsor and entered their very own porta potty racer, The Pit Stop Pooper, which sped its way to an impressive third‑place finish.

Community partners like Pit Stop Bar & Grill made this event fun and successful, and are impactful for the Niagara Area Emergency Unit. We’re grateful for their enthusiasm, creativity, and generosity.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE NIAGARA CITY CREW! They were a huge help in getting the event up and going this year, from the initial idea to cleaning up the snow from the track after the event. Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough.

And guess what… plans are already underway for the 2027 Toilet Bowl Trauma Trot & Chili Cook Off — with talk of even more events, including kids’ porta potty race divisions. Stay tuned for updates as we build an even bigger, sillier, and more spectacular winter tradition.

It was a great day for first ever Toilet Bowl Trauma Trot & Chili Cook Off. We ended up having 7 porta potty teams and 11 chilis. I was busy from the time I got there for set up this morning to the final clean up. I got very few photos, so I'll be scouring other people's pages and trying to grab some of their photos (with permission, of course) and get them loaded to the page. If anyone wants to share any photos, you can email them to [email protected].

I do want to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all the VOLUNTEERS that helped out today! The day would not have been successful without your help.

I hope everyone had a great time and enjoyed the day. I couldn't have asked for a better turnout and better weather for our first year. I got some great feedback from people. One of the biggest requests was to have a kids division next year. We may just have to make that happen!

Today is the day!!!!

It's going to be cold day, but wind should be very mild. Dress warm, using layers. We will have several burn barrels to help everyone warm up. And Okler Roofing is loaning us a few heaters also.

Take a break from the festivities if you get really cold and grab something to eat or drink at:

Toilet Bowl Trauma Trot & Chili Cook Off is almost here, and we can’t wait to see everyone out for a day of winter fun!

PORTA POTTY RACERS
We kick things off with:
- Porta potty inspections at 11:00 AM (you can start dropping your porta potties off at 10:00 am)
- First race scheduled for 11:30 AM

Not registered, but have FOMO? Get that porta potty built and just show up with your three team members by 11:00am! (I have about 7 sponsor spots for the registration fee available for the first 7 additional teams that register.)

CHILI COOKERS
Bring the heat bright and early:
- Chili drop-off at 9:15 AM
- Or 10:30 AM if your chili arrives hot and ready to serve

SPECTATORS & EVERYONE ATTENDING
This is a winter event, and we will have snow — possibly some slick spots too.
Dress warm, wear good footwear, and use caution while walking around the event area.
We want everyone to enjoy the day safely while cheering, tasting, and laughing with us.

Please note: the day’s schedule is tentative and may shift slightly depending on the final number of racers. Thanks for rolling with us! This is our first year for this event.

In addition to the porta potty races and chili cook off, there will be a few games for the kids (all potty related, of course!)

Tickets for the kids games will be $1 for 2 tickets. Each game will be 1 ticket.

Every kid that plays, will get a small prize (while supplies last).

If they are successful in the games, they will be able to choose a slightly larger prize or a second small prize (again while supplies last).
