I am running into this now. I will have to cancel my investigation and it sucks. It's just too much.
I’ve heard recently about a few venues putting up their hire costs, and it makes me really sad 👻😞
As a non profit investigator, everything I book is divided equally between myself and the investigators that join me.
I investigate for the love of history and the paranormal.....not for profit.....but when I am asked to pay the same rates as large event company it becomes harder and harder for us to carry on.😞
Some of these places mean so much, both historically and spiritually, and it’s disheartening to feel like smaller groups are slowly being priced out of accessing them.
I completely understand venues have to cover their costs, but it feels like the opportunities for genuine, passionate investigators are slipping away😞
It really does make me wonder if there should be fairer rates for small, private groups who just want to keep exploring and keeping the history alive. 👻
