What a joyful, memorable afternoon!

Volta Center for Writing Arts recently hosted a workshop where the focus was the "radical act" of noticing the joy in our otherwise harsh and divided world. A filled-to-the-brim attendance offered a wide and talented range of writing.

And to add to the continued "joy," Volta is teaming up with Bucks County Community College to create a booklet of Joy. Stay tuned for more information!

Many thanks to those that shared their time and joy with us, and to the Volta team for their efforts to create space and opportunity. What a day!

This Thursday, March 26th, we are eagerly anticipating our Writing Joy Workshop taking place at the Volta Center for Writing Arts.

Post-Workshop, the attendees will be invited to submit their work for publication in an illustrated booklet produced by BCCC's graphics arts department.

Additionally, they will be invited to submit to the Tiny Stories digital exhibition sponsored by The College of NJ Artivism program.

Volta members, Bernadette McBride (center) and Mary Jo Jerome (right) were part of this talented group of artists that shared the nuances of their work.
