One art form can spark another, creating powerful and sometimes unexpected connections. You are invited to join us, in collaboration with the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, PA for a unique program, pairing art and on-location writing.

Writers of all levels and in any genre are welcome.

Fee for this workshop:

$10 for Michener Museum members

Discover the craft of songwriting with R.G. Evans in a welcoming workshop for all experience levels, from beginner to balladeer. Through creative exercises and practical techniques, participants will explore lyric writing, melody, and storytelling while developing songs in a supportive, collaborative environment. (Acoustic instruments welcome but not required.)

*Space will be limited to 15 participants and registration is required.

50 years of exceptional poetry. What a legacy for Bucks County Community College, the talented writers who have served as laureates, and to the community that encourages and fosters such a rich culture in the arts.

If you are a Bucks County resident, 18 years or older, please consider sharing your talents by entering this year's poet laureate contest.

Now in its 50th year, the Bucks County poet laureate program was shepherded by the late Christopher Bursk -reflections from some past poet laureates as well as current director and the impact of the program on the county's creative community.
