💜 I'm Wearing My Purple Today! Are You? 💜

Domestic violence isn't something we like to think about, but it's something that happens every single day, and I think it's important to talk about it. 💜

Through my platform, Service Beyond Self, I want to remind people that even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference in someone's life.

You never really know what someone may be going through behind closed doors. Sometimes a smile, a kind word, or just letting someone know you care can mean more than you realize. 💜

Today, I'm wearing purple to support those who have been through domestic violence, those who are still facing it, and to remind them that they are NOT alone!

Everyone deserves to feel safe, loved, and important. And if you're going through something hard, please remember that your story matters and there are people who care about you! 💜

Hey y'all! 💜

I wanted to remind everyone that Service Beyond Self will be at TWO amazing community events on October 31st! I'm so excited to be a part of both, and I hope to see lots of familiar faces and meet some new ones along the way!

🇺🇸 FIRST STOP: American Legion Post 1776 Car & Bike Show!

📍 Area 51 Customs – 1789 Reeves St., Dothan, AL

🕙 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

🏆 Awards at 2:00 PM

Come out and enjoy some awesome cars, trucks, motorcycles, food trucks, vendors, and more! It's going to be a great opportunity to support our local American Legion and spend time with some amazing people!

🎃 SECOND STOP: Level Plains Trunk or Treat & Fall Festival!

📍 Level Plains, Alabama

🕔 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Hosted by the City of Level Plains and the Level Plains Police Department!

Bring the family, wear your costumes, and come enjoy candy, games, music, a cake walk, and lots of decorated trunks!

One thing I've learned through Service Beyond Self is that making a difference doesn't always have to be something big. Sometimes it's just showing up, supporting others, sharing a smile, or taking the time to be part of your community.

I'm so thankful for the opportunities I've been given to meet so many wonderful people and continue sharing what Service Beyond Self is all about. None of this would be possible without the people who continue to believe in me and support my mission.

So mark your calendars for Saturday, October 31st! I would absolutely love for you to stop by, say hey, and spend a little time with us! Whether you come to one event or both, I hope you'll get out and support these wonderful organizations that do so much for our communities.

🇺🇸⭐ I NEED YOUR HELP WITH SOMETHING REALLY SPECIAL TO ME! ⭐🇺🇸

I’m so excited to finally share Service Beyond Self’s newest project, Stars of Honor. ❤️🤍💙

When I started Service Beyond Self, I just wanted to find ways to make people feel loved, remembered, and appreciated. And this project is something that I really hope can do exactly that.

For Stars of Honor, I am collecting stars from American flags that have been respectfully retired, or are waiting to be properly retired. Instead of those stars just being gone forever, I want to give them a new purpose. ⭐

I want to take those stars and turn them into little reminders for our military, veterans, police officers, firefighters, EMS, and first responders that someone sees what they do and someone appreciates them.

My first goal is 400–500 stars.

But if you know me… you probably know I’m already hoping we can get WAY more than that. 😂❤️

And this is where I really need you guys.

If you know ANYONE who properly retires American flags, please tell them about this project! Maybe it’s an American Legion or VFW, a fire department, police department, church, business, veterans group, or even just someone you know personally.

Please message me! 🇺🇸

And if you don’t know anyone, you can still help me SO much just by sharing this post and the flyer. Seriously. One share could be the reason this reaches someone with a whole bunch of retired flags sitting somewhere waiting to be properly retired.

I know I’m only 14, and sometimes my ideas start out a little bigger than I know how to do by myself. 😂 But that’s also kind of the whole reason behind Service Beyond Self.

I don’t have to be able to do everything.

I just have to care enough to start. ❤️

And then hopefully other people will care enough to help.

Because imagine taking something as small as ONE STAR from a retired American flag and putting it into the hands of someone who has served our country or our community and being able to tell them:

⭐ You are honored.
⭐ You are appreciated.
⭐ You are never alone.

That’s what I want Stars of Honor to be.

Not just a star.

A little piece of something bigger that says, “Thank you. We haven’t forgotten you.” 🇺🇸❤️

So please help me make this happen!!

I need stars. I need connections. And most of all, I need people willing to SHARE this and help me get the word out. ⭐

Let’s see how many stars we can collect together. Maybe we can turn my goal of 400–500 into thousands someday. 🥹🇺🇸❤️

Every flag has a story.

In that same day I will also be attending this great event. The City of Level Plains has been one of my biggest supporters of SBS for many years now. They are part of the reason I keep doing what I do. I will have a Trunk (my mom and dad's jeep) and be passing out candy and maybe a few surprises. 🇺🇸❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU FROM SERVICE BEYOND SELF! ❤️🇺🇸

I want to say a HUGE thank you to the American Legion Post 1776 Riders and American Legion Post 1776 Jason N. Barfield for allowing me to come speak at your monthly meeting and share a little bit about Service Beyond Self and why this mission means so much to me.

Being only 14, I know I still have a lot to learn, but one thing I know for sure is that I have a heart for serving others. ❤️ And when it comes to our veterans and military families, I want them to ALWAYS know that there are people who care about them.

Our veterans have given so much for us and our country, and their families have sacrificed right along beside them. They deserve to know that they are LOVED, HONORED, APPRECIATED, and most importantly, NEVER ALONE. 🇺🇸

Getting the opportunity to stand in front of members of American Legion Post 1776 and talk about my mission was something very special to me. Thank you for listening to me, welcoming me, asking questions, and giving me the chance to share what is in my heart.

I honestly can't wait to see what the future holds for Service Beyond Self and American Legion Post 1776! ❤️🤍💙

I hope we can work together on many things in the future—whether it's helping a veteran, supporting a military family, putting together a care package, showing up when someone needs support, or simply reminding someone that they matter.

Because sometimes you don't have to do something HUGE to make a difference. Sometimes just showing someone that you care can mean more than you will ever know.

Thank you again to American Legion Post 1776 Jason N Barfield, and American Legion Post 1776 Riders for giving this 14-year-old girl with a big heart and a big mission the opportunity to come speak. 🇺🇸❤️

This is what Service Beyond Self is all about—putting others before yourself and doing what you can to make someone else's day a little brighter.

I have a feeling this is only the beginning, and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Philippians 4:13 reminds me, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” 🙏

My prayer of hope is that through Service Beyond Self, I have found another extended family—people who believe in serving others, honoring our veterans, supporting military families, and reminding everyone that they are never alone. I pray that God continues to guide us, strengthen us, and bring us together for many meaningful opportunities to serve. ❤️
