🎨🇺🇸 Calling all 4-H’ers in grades 3–12! Celebrate America’s 250th by entering the American Heroes Student Art Contest. Create original 2D artwork and a short artist statement inspired by one of 250 historic Americans.

🏆 Winners will earn a trip to Washington, DC this July, with their work featured at the Great American State Fair and honored at a national ceremony.

Reminder that tomorrow morning is an exhibitor work day for the fair. We will start at 8:00 am. Bring gloves, wheelbarrows, shovels, and rakes if you have them. Please label your items. Exhibitors will be mainly working in the barn to ready it for the livestock show. Please remember that all exhibitors must show up for one work day or they will be penalized on their check. (See fair rules) Please make sure that your child signs the sign-in sheet or they will not be counted for the day.

** ATTENTION EXHIBITORS - AVAILABLE WORK DAY DATES/TIMES **

Exhibitors will be picking up trash, moving shavings into the barn, along with other things to prepare our barn for the 2026 Newton Co. Fair Junior Livestock Show! Come dressed and ready to work. Bring gloves, shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows if you have them. Please label them with your name.

Please make sure that your exhibitor signs the sign-in sheet or the day will NOT count.

Per the rules, every exhibitor must attend a work day.
