Today we celebrate Ms. Jennifer Forte, proud mom of senior band member Theodore Forte Jr., for being an extraordinary volunteer who continues to show up, lend a hand, and support our band family whenever she is needed! 🌟

🌟 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: LAIKLYN MOORE 🌟

Today, we’re shining the Senior Spotlight on LaikLyn Moore, Majorette Captain of the Newton High School Marching Band! 💙🤍🖤

For the past three years, LaikLyn has brought her talent, confidence, and Tiger spirit to the band as a majorette. Now serving as Majorette Captain, she helps lead her team while bringing energy and style to every performance! ✨

After graduation, LaikLyn plans to attend East Central Community College, where she will enroll in the LPN nursing program and begin working toward a career in healthcare. 🩺

LaikLyn, as you step into this next chapter, we hope you carry the same confidence, determination, and leadership you’ve shown on the field into everything you pursue.

IT’S GAME DAY!!!!

The wait is finally over!!! Our Newton Tiger Band is getting ready to hit that field for the FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON!!!

We’ve watched these kids work, practice, get tired, laugh, push through, and keep going. Now it’s time to put all that hard work out there and SHOW THEM WHAT NEWTON IS MADE OF!!!

To our band kids, don’t worry about being perfect. Just trust what you’ve practiced, stay together, have fun, and GIVE IT EVERYTHING YOU GOT!!!

We are already SO PROUD of y’all!

So when you step on that field tonight, hold your head up, play loud, march hard, and let that Newton Tiger spirit shine!!!

GO OUT THERE AND GIVE THEM THE TIGER PRIDE!!! 🔥

🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: JA’KERIA BROACH 🎷

Today, we’re proud to shine the Senior Spotlight on Ja’Keria Broach!

Ja’Keria has been a dedicated member of the Newton High School Band for four years, playing the saxophone. Her role as Co-Section Leader/Second Chair for two and a half years reflects her teamwork, dedication, and commitment to the band.

As Ja’Keria prepares for her next chapter, she plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) and major in Business.

We are proud to celebrate Ja’Keria and all that she has contributed to the band over the years. We wish her continued success as she finishes her senior year and prepares for the exciting journey ahead!

🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: THEODORE FORTE JR. 🎺

Today, we’re proud to shine the Senior Spotlight on Theodore Forte Jr.!

Theodore has been a dedicated member of the Newton High School Band for five years, playing the trumpet and demonstrating both talent and leadership along the way. His role as Section Leader/First Chair for four consecutive years reflects his dedication, consistency, and commitment to the band.

As Theodore prepares for his next chapter, he plans to major in Forensic Science with an emphasis in Pre-Law, with the goal of becoming a Forensic Science Technician and working in a respected crime laboratory.

Theodore, we celebrate all that you have accomplished and the leadership you have shown throughout your years in the band. Continue to lead by example, stay focused on your goals, and carry that same determination with you wherever your future takes you.

Congratulations, Theodore! We are proud to celebrate you and wish you much success in the journey ahead! 🎓🎺
