Calling all girls ages 8–12 from Wicksburg, Hartford, and Slocomb!

We’re excited to offer Fall 2026 Youth Volleyball for girls entering 3rd–4th Grade and 5th–6th Grade during the 2026-2027 school year.

• Girls ages 8–12
• Open to players of all skill levels
• Weeknight practices and games
• All practices and games hosted in Wicksburg
• Focus on fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun!

WYAA Progress Update ⚾🥎

Great progress is being made on the baseball/softball complex! The light poles have been assembled and installed, marking another big step forward.

A huge thank you to Buck Burkhardt for capturing these amazing drone photos and helping us document the progress. We’re excited to see this project continue to come together for our athletes and community!

We have exciting news! The stolen lights have been returned! Thank you to all those that got the word out! We’re 100% confident that played a role!

‼️‼️Update: lights found and returned!!! ‼️‼️

We typically use this platform to share good news… However this time is not one of those. Over the weekend someone stole 5 LED fixtures off of our light poles at our new field sight.

Each of these lights costs roughly $740. This is a total of $3700. We’re already operating on thin margins to get this project completed!

Please, be in the lookout and let us know if you have any information. The Houston County Sherrifs department has been notified and is currently onsite.

The Wicksburg Youth Athletic Association is having a community work day at our new baseball park this Saturday, November 8, from 8 am until noon. We will be putting up fencing and lighting very soon and we need to get some stuff cleaned up. We need shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows to pick up and move concrete spills and level dirt piles. Our fields have been bushhogged, but we need to cut them down a little more, so we also need lawn mowers. If you can donate a little time, please come help.

We're excited to announce we've finalized volleyball rosters! We will have three 3rd and 4th grade teams and three 5th and 6th grade teams. We'd call that alone a success. Be on the lookout from a message from your child's coach! Looking forward to a great season!
