THANK YOU! 🥲🌸

Because of you, we received $175 from our Dine & Donate with Little Vinny’s! That means roughly 20–30 people stopped by on a Wednesday for a snack, lunch, or dinner and mentioned The Bloom Project - MI or presented our flyer. 💗

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on community support, donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers. We’ve received one grant since starting a year ago, and we work hard every day to raise awareness and funds so we can continue making an impact on girls across the six schools we currently work with.

Your support is helping us prepare for the holiday season. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We’re so grateful for our community and for Little Vinny's Drive-In. 🥹✨

A shoutout to a local business, Shine Your Lite Nutrition ! 🌟🥤

Kim shared the other day that it was laid on her heart to make a donation to The Bloom Project - MI. Those words were so special to hear. We love knowing that people are thinking of The Bloom Project and choosing to support our mission! 💗🌸

We’re grateful for the connections we’ve made, the support we receive, and the small businesses that collaborate with us. Every new person added to our village helps us continue working to ensure no girl is left behind.

Thank you, Kim, for all you do for your community and for choosing to support The Bloom Project! Your generous donation makes a meaningful difference in the impact we can make. We couldn’t do this work without support from our community.

When you support The Bloom Project - MI, you help us make a difference in the lives of girls in our local communities. 🌸💗

We currently work alongside Monroe High, Jefferson Middle and High, Airport High, Flat Rock Middle (Simpson), and Tree by the Sea Counseling. All of our opportunities, applications, and community groups are open to all middle and high school girls, whether we’ve connected with your school yet or not.

From June 2025 through September 2026, we’ve directly impacted 547 girls through prom assistance, senior photos, back-to-school clothes, Christmas gifts, community groups, dance tickets and dresses, mindfulness classes, care packages, and so much more.

We’ve been busy, to say the least, and we’ve loved every minute of making a difference! 🤩

The Bloom Project is supported through grants, fundraisers, donations, and sponsorships. Here are a few ways to help:

With this fall weather, we are getting excited for our upcoming senior photo sessions for four incredible girls! 🍂📸

This is our second year offering senior photos, and it is a project we truly love. By covering this expense, we are helping these girls and their families focus on enjoying every moment of senior year. It is an opportunity for each girl to feel confident, choose outfits that express who she is, and create special memories.

We also want to thank every girl who applied. We wish we could offer this opportunity to all of you! We are proud of you for sharing your stories and the meaningful goals you have set for your future. Although four girls were selected, we hope to connect with everyone who applied through other opportunities this school year, so please stay tuned!

Congratulations to Charmette, Emma, Maizie, and Madison! Two attend Airport High School, one attends Monroe High School, and one attends Jefferson High School. We cannot wait to celebrate you on October 11! 🤩

A huge thank you to Gracie Marie photography for partnering with us for this special project. 💗🌸

The most beautiful morning! We still can’t believe it! 🥹💗

Kristi, Treasurer, and Whitney, Founder, had the honor of attending an incredible event hosted by The Therapy Collective of Michigan, where a percentage of the proceeds were donated to support our mission.

The morning brought together wonderful vendors, community members, connection, and self care. Whitney also had the privilege of leading a 25 minute guided meditation using her training and certifications.

So many meaningful conversations were had, connections were made, and excitement was shared. Then, we went home with a $670 donation that truly left us in shock!

The morning felt like a scene from Gilmore Girls, surrounded by genuine people who are rooting for us and believe in our mission. 🧘🍁

Thank you so much to Emily, owner of The Therapy Collective of Michigan, and Kat for organizing this beautiful event and thinking of The Bloom Project - MI. Your support means more than you know! 🌸💕

We held our bimonthly in-person meeting tonight, complete with our traditional Starbucks treats, and it was incredibly productive! 💗🌸

For nearly two hours, we shared ideas, planned events, discussed what worked and what didn’t, identified where we can improve, and set goals for everything ahead.

Our board is made up of seven individuals, and although we were missing one tonight, we still heard many different perspectives. That’s the beauty of our nonprofit, we collaborate and come together around one mission: ensuring no girl is left behind.

Tonight was one for the books! We’re excited to continue supporting middle and high school girls through mindfulness, self-care, community, and the reminder that we are always in their corner.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission. Donations are always appreciated and can be made online or by check. 💕✨

Another celebration! 🎂🌸🥳

Our September birthday deliveries are complete! Today, we delivered our first-ever cake to Monroe High School to celebrate Cassie, who attended our founder Whitney’s Upward Bound classes this summer. Cassie’s jaw dropped when she saw her surprise, and she said, “I can’t believe you remembered my birthday!” That smile is exactly why we do what we do!

We also got to deliver a special cake to Jefferson High School to celebrate Jessica and help make her birthday a little brighter!

A huge thank you to Amy at Great Lakes Cookie Cakes! What began as an idea and a collaboration over a year ago has become such a special part of our mission. 🥹💗
