Newport Health Equity Zone The Newport Health Equity Zone is about working together to make where we live a place where everyone has an opportunity to be healthy and thrive.

The Newport Health Equity Zone is a five-year project, funded by the Rhode Island Department of Health. You, your neighbors, and local community organizations can work together to help make every neighborhood a healthy neighborhood. This year, we’ll be learning six things each neighborhood has and needs when it comes to promoting better health for all.
