Butterfly Walk for Lupus & Fibromyalgia

Join the Social Butterflies Foundation's Butterfly Walk for Lupus & Fibro! Funds raised will be used to help lupus and fibromyalgia survivors.

The Social Butterflies Foundation is a grassroots organization formed by a survivor for survivors and their families. It is the first and only organization located in the Hampton Roads community dedicated to helping lupus and fibromyalgia survivors and their families. We use funds that we raise to:
•Provide support groups
•Provide emergency medical financial assistance
* Provide college scholars

hips for high school seniors accepted to an institution of higher learning that is a survivor or child of a survivor
*Host educational conferences and health fairs
*Outreach programs to include our free Wigs Outreach
•Conduct activities to increase awareness of lupus, rally public support for those who are affected by lupus, and advocate on their behalf
*Advocacy
*Support research

We are dedicated to helping survivors and their families live healthier lives. The Butterfly Walk is our signature event and our largest fundraiser of the year. Funds raised from the Walk are used to carry out the Foundation’s mission of providing lifesaving resources to anyone facing challenges associated with lupus and/or fibromyalgia, at no charge. Social Butterflies Foundation is a charitable organization with tax-exempt status granted under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We envision making these invisible illnesses VISIBLE
