I would appreciate any support with this matter! Sail will practically be in my front yard. I cannot imagine the traffic down my road because it’s already a cut through. I do not want to move out of Coweta but this will cause me to.

Citizens for Rural Coweta is kicking off an official petition. If we collect enough verified signatures from registered Coweta voters, the whole county gets to vote on the data center question. Not five commissioners.

We need you this Saturday, May 30, at one of these locations:

Morning | 9:30-Noon:

2355 Hwy 29 N. -- Madras Community Center
30 Pete Rd, Sharpsburg -- Cannongate Community Center
1792 Welcome Rd -- Welcome Community Center
2917 Hwy 16, Sharpsburg -- Hunter Park

Bring a valid Georgia ID. Takes 5 min. That's it.

One important ask: help us spread the word the old-fashioned way - call someone, text a neighbor, tell a friend in person. We need 14,000 signatures. Please share.

Unfortunately, Porch fest has been canceled. I will be arranging a new itinerary for us for Saturday. I know the small businesses prepared for this event, so I want to support them to hopefully help them not experience a loss.

This sounds like a great time to still hear live music, mingle, and have a good time.

Maybe we should name it The Rain Boots and Umbrella Fest.
