Shiloh Student Council recently planned and organized a hygiene drive to collect items for TARF. Every club at Shiloh contributed to this effort.

Last night, Chris and I had the opportunity to assemble 24 grab bags for people in need. Aaliyah would have loved this project. We are so thankful for her fellow council members and peers for continuing to do good things in honor of her.

If you or someone you know is in need of hygiene products, please message us and we will arrange delivery for porch drop off— no questions asked. Bags will also be available at our food pantry located in the Newman Community Center.

Thank you for keeping Aaliyah’s legacy alive and continuing the community service my sweet girl was passionate about.

TARF had the absolute honor of speaking at FCCLA as well as being a judge yesterday. What a pleasure it was to be able to connect with these future leaders of our community and we can’t wait to connect again!

With the cold temperatures and snow in the forecast, we want to help make this weekend a little easier.

If you need food for the weekend, you can send us a message and we will put together a bag according to your family size and do a private porch drop-off for anyone within 15 miles from Newman.

Completely free. No questions asked. Supplies are limited and we will accept requests until 5pm.

We’re proud to open our Little Free Pantry in the Newman Community Center.
We hope it becomes a simple, caring way for our community to love our neighbors — by giving, sharing, and making sure no one ever feels overlooked, unwelcome, or alone. This pantry is for all of us, and everyone belongs here.

It is located in the south hallway and is open Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. For immediate assistance outside of those hours, a phone number is posted on the door.

This month, our own household struggled to afford groceries. Like many families, we’ve felt the impact of rising costs and the ripple effect of SNAP benefit changes — even though we don’t receive assistance ourselves. We have two incomes and a small business on the side, yet we still felt the strain. If we’re feeling it, we know so many others are too.

When families lose benefits, they still have to find ways to feed their families and selves. That means grocery prices rise, community resources stretch thin, and it ends up affecting everyone — even households with a steady income.

That’s why we’re launching two new Little Free Pantries in our community within the next week. These small outdoor pantries will be open 24/7 and stocked with nonperishable food and essentials, personal hygiene products, and even occasional gifts for encouragement— free for anyone who needs them, no questions asked. We’ll announce the exact addresses when they are ready.

If you’re struggling, you’re not alone. And if you’re able, please consider donating, helping us keep the pantries stocked, or partnering with us to establish a pantry near you. Every act of kindness makes a difference. ❤️
