Youth mental health has changed significantly since the Pandemic. Consider these new national numbers and then remember that kids in Avery County were also heavily impacted by Helene. That is not reflected in these statistics.

It is up to each person in this community to help support youth and children in this community so that they are better able to overcome and build strong individual mental health.
