Little One: “Hey Horsie… it’s me and you. I was thinking… what can we do to get more sponsors, donations, and community help so we can rescue another horse? I think you need a new best friend.”

Horse: “Well, first of all, I fully support this idea. More friends means more goofing off opportunities.”

Little One: “Exactly! We could run, play tag, and maybe get into a little harmless mischief.”

Horse: “Heavy emphasis on harmless. TROTT already has enough gray hairs.”

Little One: “So how do we convince people to help?”

Horse: “Easy. We tell them the truth. Every rescue horse deserves a safe landing, a full belly, and a chance to heal. And when people help, they become part of that story.”

Little One: “Should I tell them that the new horse could be your buddy?”

Horse: “Absolutely. Tell them I’m accepting friendship applications.”

Little One: “What else?”

Horse: “Tell them that every donation, sponsorship, share, and kind word helps bring a horse one step closer to safety. Hay doesn’t buy itself, vet bills don’t magically disappear, and apparently being adorable isn’t enough to pay the bills.”

Little One: “That’s not fair. You’re very adorable.”

Horse: “I know. I’ve tried paying my expenses with good looks. The farrier was unimpressed.”

Little One: “So if the community helps, we can rescue another horse?”

Horse: “That’s right. And maybe give them a chance to become a healer too—just like the horses at TROTT.”

Little One: “Then let’s ask everyone to help.”

Horse: “Deal. Because somewhere out there, a horse is waiting for a second chance… and I’m waiting for a new partner in crime.”

Little One: “You mean a new friend.”

Horse: “Friend. Definitely friend. That’s my final answer.”

❤️ At TROTT, every rescue begins with a community that believes in second chances. Your donations, sponsorships, shares, and support help provide safe landings, medical care, feed, rehabilitation, and hope for horses in need. Together, we can bring home the next rescue—and maybe a new best friend too. 🐴✨

There’s something incredibly special about the quiet moments in a barn.
No words. No expectations. Just connection.

This photo captures the heart of TROTT so beautifully — a soft touch in front of a rescue. He was very new here, underweight however neither of them were asking for anything except presence. And somehow, horses always understand that language.

Sometimes it begins in the smallest moments… slight touch or perhaps just sitting in the hay, listening to the peaceful sounds of the barn, feeling safe, feeling calm, and realizing you are not alone.

Horses have a remarkable way of reaching hearts without ever speaking. They teach trust, patience, comfort, and emotional connection in ways that are hard to explain but impossible to forget. When a horse learns to trust you, a shift begins to happen and the bond grows. I personally believe in small wins equals big success.

This is why we do what we do.
To create safe landings — not only for horses in need, but for the teens and families who walk through our doors searching for peace, healing, and hope.

UPDATE: campaign closed this momma and baby have been rescued by someone and now safe. 🙏

🚨 URGENT: A Life-Saving Window for Mom & Her Newborn Filly 🚨

At TROTT, we believe in healing on both sides of the lead rope—but right now, we are in a race against time.

This sweet mama and her 3-day-old baby have only 48 hours left to find safety. Just days into life, this fragile filly should be resting beside her mother—not facing uncertainty.

We are urgently trying to bring them into our program—to provide a safe landing, immediate care, and the chance to heal. Once safe, this pair will not only be given a future… they will one day help others heal through the work we do at TROTT.

But we cannot do this alone.

As a nonprofit, we rely entirely on community support, compassion, and action. We are hoping for an angel—someone who can help us say yes before time runs out.

💛 Their lives depend on this moment.
💛 Your support can change their story.

If you feel moved, please consider donating, sponsoring, or sharing. Even the smallest act can help bring them to safety.

Let’s come together—right now—and give this mother and her baby the chance they deserve.

We are reaching out with full hearts and a sense of urgency.

A beautiful mama horse and her day-old filly need a safe landing—right now. Their situation is time-sensitive, and without immediate support, their future is uncertain. This is a critical moment where compassion and action can truly change the course of their lives.

At TROTT (Together Reaching Out To Teens), our mission is rooted in healing on both sides of the lead rope—for both the horse and the teen. We are a New York–based nonprofit that provides rescued horses with a place to decompress, feel safe, and begin again… and in return, these horses go on to help heal the hearts of the teens who walk through our doors.

We are ready to offer this mama and her baby a safe, loving landing, where they can exhale, bond, and begin their journey of healing. But we cannot do this alone.

As a nonprofit, we rely entirely on the power of community—through donations, sponsorships, and simply sharing our mission. Every single act of support brings us closer to saying yes to this rescue.

💛 This is where you come in.
We are asking you—our village—to help us act quickly.
Whether it’s a donation, a share, or connecting us with someone who can help… it all matters.

Time is not on their side—but together, we can be.

If you feel moved to help us save this mama and her filly, please reach out or donate using the link provided. Let’s come together and make this rescue possible.

Many of the horses who arrive to us carry stories we may never fully know—neglect, uncertainty, exhaustion. When they step off that trailer, our first promise is simple: you are safe now.

From that moment on, their journey begins.

We work closely with veterinarians and farriers to ensure each horse receives the medical attention they need—whether it’s urgent care, nutritional rehabilitation, routine hoof care, or ongoing treatment plans. We take the time to let them decompress, rebuild their strength, and learn to trust again. Healing isn’t rushed here—it’s nurtured.

But this level of care is only possible because of the kindness and generosity of those who believe in what we do.

Sponsorship is the heartbeat of our program.

Through sponsorships, we are able to provide:

* Veterinary care and medical treatment
* Quality feed, hay, and supplements
* Farrier services and rehabilitation support
* Safe shelter and daily hands-on care

When you choose to sponsor, you’re not just supporting a horse—you’re becoming part of their story. You are helping transform fear into trust, weakness into strength, and uncertainty into hope.

And in time, these same horses go on to do something extraordinary—they help heal the teens who walk through our doors. It’s a full circle of healing that begins with you.

Together, as a community, we can continue this work.
Together, we can give them the care they deserve.
Together, we can keep showing up—for the horses, for the teens, and for the healing that happens on both sides of the lead rope. If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor please message us privately.

With gratitude always,
TROTT

At TROTT everything begins with a simple but profound truth—healing goes both ways.

Rescued horses carry stories we may never fully know. Many have experienced neglect, fear, or uncertainty. But when they are given a safe place to land, something incredible happens—they begin to exhale. They soften. They trust again. And in that healing, they become powerful partners in helping others do the same.

Our program is built on the belief that horses have an extraordinary ability to reduce emotional barriers, restore confidence, and create space for true healing—especially for teens navigating their own challenges. There is no judgment in a horse’s presence, only honesty, connection, and quiet understanding.

At TROTT, we don’t just rescue horses—we rehabilitate, nurture, and give them purpose again. In return, they help guide teens toward strength, resilience, and self-worth. This is where transformation happens—on both sides of the lead rope.

This mission is deeply personal to me. My passion comes from witnessing these moments—the first touch, the first moment of trust, the first sign of peace in both horse and human. It’s something you never forget.

But we cannot do this alone.

My goal is to build a strong, dedicated, and compassionate community—one that believes in second chances, in healing, and in the power of connection. A community that stands beside us in rescuing, rehabilitating, and creating a safe space where both horses and teens can thrive.

Together, we can give them the chance they deserve.

Together, we can create something truly meaningful.

Together, we are TROTT
