Ecumenical Food Pantry The Ecumenical Food pantry was founded in 1989 by Ruth Ives and Gail Berry.

Today it is the cooperative effort of 8 area churches and completely volunteer run, with the goal of addressing food insecurity locally.

Thank you to the supportive community of Ames True Value Hardware and for re-upping our pet food supply.

When families struggle to put food on the table, they also struggle to put food in a pet’s dish. Our volunteers divide the kibble into smaller bags, so there are more portions to share.

At the popular Kieve and Wavus camps (KWE on Damariscotta Lake), the fare from their kitchen is renowned, spoken of fondly by their campers. During winter KWE use their resources to prepare and deliver delicious, creative, nutritious meals to the food pantry. Rays of sunshine during this long, cold, costly winter. We are so #207 ☀️
