🐾 WE’RE HIRING AT ARK PET RESCUE! 🐾
Our team is growing, and we’re looking for an Animal Care Specialist and a Dog Groomer to join us at ARK Pet Rescue in Newberg!
These positions can be filled by one person who is qualified and interested in doing both OR two separate people.
🐶 ANIMAL CARE SPECIALIST
$18/hour | Part-Time | Approx. 20 hours/week
This is a hands-on animal care position working directly with the dogs and cats in our rescue.
We’re looking for someone who has previous veterinary clinic, animal shelter, boarding facility, or similar professional animal-care experience.
Responsibilities may include:
🐾 Daily care, feeding & cleaning
🐾 Administering medications
🐾 Monitoring animals for illness or changes in condition
🐾 Handling dogs and cats with a variety of needs and temperaments
🐾 Maintaining clean kennels and animal-care areas
🐾 Assisting with the day-to-day needs of the rescue
This position will start around 20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours once fully trained.
✂️ DOG GROOMER
50% Commission | Part-Time/Flexible
We’re also looking for a motivated groomer to join our grooming salon!
This is a self-motivated position, and your schedule/hours will largely be determined by how many grooming clients book with you. The more you build your clientele, the more opportunity there is to work!
Applicants should be comfortable working independently, communicating with clients, managing their grooming schedule and providing safe, compassionate care to the dogs they groom.
