Our Project Accelerate's Advocacy Girls are collecting data to better understand the experiences of women navigating healthcare in Delaware, and your feedback can help drive meaningful change.

June is Uterine Cancer Awareness Month.Did you know that uterine (endometrial) cancer is the most common gynecologic cancer in the United States?

Many women are unaware of the warning signs, yet early detection can make a significant difference.

One common symptom is abnormal vaginal bleeding, including bleeding after menopause, bleeding between periods, or unusual discharge. Other symptoms may include pelvic pain or pressure, unexplained weight loss, pain during in*******se, and changes in urinary habits.

There is currently no routine screening test for uterine cancer, which makes understanding the symptoms so important.

Knowledge saves lives. Learn about the signs, share the information, and help raise awareness this month.

🎗️ June is National Cancer Survivors Month—a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and courage of those who have faced cancer and continue to move forward one day at a time.

Being a survivor isn't just about reaching remission. It's about navigating the doctor's appointments, the scans, the physical changes, the emotional battles, and the times when you wonder if you'll ever feel like yourself again. It's about learning how to live after diagnosis.

Survivorship is not a destination, it's a journey. Some days are filled with gratitude and joy. Other days are filled with fear and frustration. Both can exist at the same time.

This month, we honor every survivor:

💙 Those newly diagnosed and fighting.
💙 Those in remission.
💙 Those living with cancer.
💙 Those navigating recurrence. 💙 Those carrying visible and invisible scars.
💙 Those who keep showing up, even when it's hard.

Your story matters. Your voice matters. Your life matters.
And if no one has told you lately, I am proud of you. I'm proud of us!💙🎗

Cancer changed my life, but it didn't end it. Today, I am not only a survivor, I am an advocate, a founder, and a woman determined to make sure no one walks this journey alone. 💙🎗️

A Pap test doesn’t screen for ovarian cancer; it’s only for cervical cancer.

This highlights the importance of being aware of ovarian cancer symptoms and discussing different screening options with your healthcare provider, like a Transvaginal Ultrasound, CA-125 Blood Test, and/or Pelvic Examination.
