The Newark Food Closet will be closed December 24-28th so our wonderful volunteers can spend time with their families for the holidays. We will reopen monday the 29th at 10am. We will be open tomorrow Tuesday 23rd from 10-12.

The Newark Food closet is pleading for help. With the looming of food stamps ending we are getting hit really hard with families needing help. Our shelves are getting really empty and we are struggling to keep up. Please consider donating perishable and non perishable items. We also are in need of monetary donations so we can purchase items that don't get donated. Every donation is tax deductible.

The Newark Food closet is looking for some volunteers. We are in need of 2 drivers to pick up donations for our organization. Must have a clean drivers license, very reliable, and trustworthy. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. We provide the vehicle. The days are Tuesday, Wed and Fri. Times are 7:15am-10:00am. If interested please contact Lisa at 315-351-6474.

Public Health staff will have our Health and Human Services Mobile Health vehicle parked at Emmanuel Methodist Church in Newark next Wednesday providing education on immunizations, overdose awareness and more from 10am -12pm.
